  1. @Nameless I do not think Inquisitors could heal from a shardblade. Shardblades sever the soul, not the flesh or blood. Think about it. You store up health by being sick or injured and not recovering. That means that when you are injured or sick later, you can recover faster. This is different than having your soul severed. Furthermore, I agree with @Dunkum, coins probably do not travel as fast as bullets, they would not do as much damage. But even if they did, the inquisitors would have to hit the same spot two or three times, something not so easy to do. About the flying point. The farther up that they fly, the less accurate they will be with coins. Also, the Blackthorn could admittedly jump super high into the air, then throw his blade into one of the inquisitors.
  2. Actually, I just realized something. Inquisitors could not heal from a shardblade wound. Shardblades cut through the soul. I don't think that Gold could help.
  3. Also, I disagree about @Nameless's argument for Inquisitors v Blackthorn. This isn't Dalinar we are talking about, this is the Blackthorn. You simply can't kill a force of nature. I agree with @Elsecaller_17.5, The Blackthorn is simply better at everything. The healing issue is irrelevant. It takes Kal a ton of Stormlight to heal a Shardblade wound, the Inquisitors would very quickly run out of healing. Furthermore, Dalinar has no metal on him. His blade and plate are not able to be affected by Allomancy, and all the inquisitors have, strong as they are, is obsidian axes and coins. I think he could take out, with some difficulty, two inquisitors. Three would be tricky, but he might be able to pull it off.
  4. Ok, Kelsier and Vin and Wax have enough of the eight basic metals to last through the battle. Neither has Atium, and Surgebinders have enough Stormlight to last through the battle. Now, I would like to address the question of Wax V Kelsier, because me and my friend think Wax would win. Wax has the ability, assuming he has enough weight stored up, to use steel in a way that is far more powerful than Kelsier's Steelpush/Ironpull. So, in theory, Wax could push Kelsier through a building or something. Secondly, Wax is simply better at steel than Kelsier ever was. He has enough control to create a steel bubble without affecting his weapons or bullets. Thirdly, Wax can literally fly, if he didn't want him to, Kelsier couldn't touch him, and finally, Wax is just a better fighter than Kelsier. I mean, Kelsier had trouble with six hazekillers. Wax has taken down twenty men on his own.
  5. So, I have had numerous discussions with a friend that started with "Who would win between..." So I thought of a few to post here. Feel free to add new ones, or choose any of these here to discuss Kaladin v Kelsier Wax v Kelsier Szeth v Vin(no atium) The Blackthorn v 2-3 Inquisitors The Lord Ruler v Hoid
  6. That means Shallen falls in love with Sadeas Ewwww...
  7. In SA 5, will Lopen show up with a whole army of his cousins? I really hope so.
  8. I believe this will be a major plot point in the future. We know that the Shardblades could take any shape, so how do we know they are not Shardslipper?
  9. I don't think that is true. I do think that he would need an Odiumblade to do it however
  10. Spoilers! My guess is that it has something to do with the spiritual and cognitive realms. When Dalinar went all I AM UNITY he fused the three realms for a brief time and as such supercharged the Radiants around him. I think when one speaks an ideal, it does something similar on a lesser scale
  11. Stormlight Spoilers So from the beginning, the abandonment of the oathpact was a big deal, the Radiants abandoned their job. But wasn't the oathpact necessary to keep the voidbringers at bay? So when the series or arc is over, whichever resolves the voidbringer problem, will a new oathpact need to be formed? Honor does not exist anymore, but Dalinar is portraying shard-like characteristics, so maybe he would be able to re-form it? Or perhaps Wit/hoid will have something to do with it. Regardless of how it would be done, is it necessary? Will they shatter Odium for good this time? If they do form the oathpact again, who will the heralds be?
  12. Plus, if the Vorin church is destroyed, then would Jasnah just become normal, and not seen as a heretic? I feel like that conflict is essentially one of the main things that defines her, and I am guessing she will have a book later on.
  13. So, most good writers will say that you should be willing to kill hour darlings, so no one is expliy off the table. That being said, I don't think Kal will die, as he is a central character, and as such is more likely to die in five. The same for Shallen and Dalinar. Jasnah won't die, as she sort of already has, my guess is Adalin, as he is not a central character and has no powers. Could be Lift or Szeth as well, but definitely the Moody son of a central character.
  14. True, Wit is nothing compared to Odium himself, but could Wit not destroy a bunch of voidbringers, then pop into shadesmar?
  15. Mistborn Magic Spoiler(talks about mistborn magic theory) Is it technically possible to create a unicorn mistborn? With the Inquisitors, they stab themselves with hemalurgic spikes to get allomancy. So what is stopping someone from getting a horse and killing a full mistborn with a spike as they drive it into.tje head of a horse, and therefore create a mistborn unicorn?
  16. Spoilers from Secret history, warbreaker, and Stormlight So, if Wit has all the powers of allomancy, all the powers of breath, and now some of the powers of a Radiant, why has he done almost nothing to stop Odium?
