    Random writing update that no one asked for: I managed to derail my own derailment when I was supposed to be writing another cosmere crossover fic by deciding instead to write Adolin, Shallan and Kaladin playing Mario Kart/Smash Bros, but as soon as I sat down my brain was like “no, you’re writing Ruin and Preservation in couples counselling”. Storming brain, this is why I never finish anything :P

      Just a comment on the story proper:

      Mariokart all the way. I once found a list of the 100 best Video Game villains. Near the top, you've got Bowser, Ganondorf, GLaDOS... and at #1 is "your friends in Mariokart."
