      The vast majority of them were not full drafts. A lot of them weren't even full chapters. I have two completed drafts: Mark Three (it's really bad; I wrote it when I was eleven) and Mark Sixteen (the one shared on the Shard initially).

    As everyone hopped through the doorway, Fadran poked his head back in to double-check that everything back at the inn was in order. "Make sure Kris knows we're clocked to Room 112." Will do. "Dunno how long we'll be here. You can handle the Glorbdashnan thing while I'm away?" Yes. It's mostly under control by now anyways. "Kay, what about the - " Fadran, I literally imbued the limitless essence of the Iconar into this place. Do you really think I can't handle myself? He put on a weak, sheepish sort of grin. "Lemme know if you need anything." Don't die. "You neither, bud." Fadran shut the door, and upon snapping the bolt into place watched it shrink in on itself and vanish. A little iron key dropped to the floor where it had stood, which he slipped into his packrealm for the time being.

    I've been obsessed with black holes for probably well over a decade and I still have no clue about anything except for how they form and what they do

    like apparently how close stuff can orbit without falling in depends on how fast it's spinning, which means that hypothetically it could spin so fast that things could have a stable orbit inside its event horizon such that light could escape and show us what the singularity looks like, and the only reason we don't consider that to be a possibility is because physicists just really don't like thinking about it???

    And today I learned that the one we imaged is spinning so bloody fast that we get redshifting on the black hole itself, which is why in that fuzzy image one side is brighter than the other

     

    Don't even get me started on the information paradox, man...
