Aerith risked burning a bit of his crystal to keep up his endurance. "Where are we going?"

"I hope she got away.... Granted, I think we have bigger things to worry about right now."

"Any idea what might've happened to that cutesy nice amal girl? Valerie?"

"Thank goodness; I was worried that I'd have to respect you. Not that I don't, of course."

"Any of them. I'm also considering Acromantula fangs, though those are a little hard to come across nowadays..."

"You said you fought Amals. You weren't in the army, were you?"

Leonie finishes her game of chess--she had won this time, though she was suspicious that Shen had gone easy on her--and packs up some books. "What should we do now, Shen?" She asked aloud; not that he'd be replying like that. "Go to class? When is class?" @Vapor

Aerith roofhops right beside her. "So you were in some village guard or something?"

“Remember what I said about spontaneous decisions? Every second you waste thinking is a second for the enemy to kill you dead.”

“I mean you shouldn’t fight by yourself. Lets go.” Aerith starts scaling the back wall of the alleyway.

Aerith follows her. "I'm well aware that you can fight for yourself, but that doesn't mean you should. Do you think we lost them?"

It succeeds, but to its own detriment. Aerith rolls the second he hits the ground, coming up to face both wolves and hitting either with a quick fireball. He gets to his feet, grabbing Chorale's arm, and pulls her along as he keeps running.

Aerith socks the first in the jaw, then grabs its leg and swings it at the other one.

"All the Cosmere portals are right next to the second master bedroom on the third floor." -
Aerith shoves Chorale out of the way, then leaps over the wolves.

"I have Macrosmostic portals set up around the house, including a few to various planets in the Cosmere. In the Cosmere, you require a Perpendicularity because they're the only way into the Cognitive realm, which spans the immense distance between planets very easily. With a Macrosmistic portal, however, we skip the whole Cognitive step and just kind of... appear where it is we want to be."

Fadran selects some spices that would hopefully add to the flavor.

"Whoa!" Fadran fell backwards into the kitchen island, slipping on the wet floor, and nearly broke his spine. He jumped to his feet not a second later. "Nothing happened. All is well. Shall we begin?"

Fadran grabbed a pot, put it down on the stovetop, then looked around in confusion for a way to light the fire.

"I wouldn't leave without you!"
