    What if we started a currency throughout the Shard? Like, everyone has a daily alotment of 20 arrow signs that they can give to people when they like their stuff, or something. As much as I'd love to 3D print something... I don't have a 3D printer. Also, as much as I love Sanderspeak, this is a guild for Fantasy Authors everywhere, not just Sanderfans (though I guess the fact that it's on the Shard means that anyone here is a Sanderfan by default...), which is why I'm going with BOOK SYMBOLS. You want to be the... sure. Sure. Secretary of War. Why not? And why the heck would we go to war against the sci-fi writers? They aren't filthy! Sci-fi is basically just magic disguised as science!

    Welcome, Omi. Have you posted the book you're writing at all, or...? Holy heck does that count! I'm granting you the immediate role as Acclaimed Author because... I mean, Brando Sando himself acclaimed your writing.

    Heck. Where do you propose we get some of that sweet, sweet cha-ching? Please! The idea I had was just as a regular gold/silver/copper badge inscribed with the rank. I'm thinking it could have a book symbol, or a number of book symbols denoting a basic rank hierarchy.

    Here, we shall share the collective knowledge of magic, worldbuilding, and the like! To join this guild, you must foreswear against intentional use of icky grammar. Take the Oath of the Author: Always recall the three tenets of this guild: Worldbuilding, Magic, and Storywriting. Once you have joined the Guild, you will receive your standard-issue Badge of Admission (can someone design that? I'm terrible at graphic design) and some basic writing devices. You may ascend the ranks by performing deeds and writing stuffs. The ranks (very underdeveloped, currently. Expect all this to change):

    I do not want to lose all motivation and restart. Even if I do lose all motivation, I'm going to force myself to keep going, because I am not willing to restart the 50,000 word-long draft that I have.
