Trace grabbed Aryanna's arm, dragging the woman behind her. Listen to her! Can't you see she's scared?

"She can't run. Stop being so impatient. I need to break Janice first."

"How long has it been?" Leonas asked. "How long have you been away from society?"

"My name is Trace. Deny it as you will, but your friend is dead."

"I'm listening."

Leonas followed her.

"Uhh... however you started."

"Janice is dead." Trace growled. "The Talon didn't lie to you. They did kill her during experimentation. I was the result." Cadenza! Cadenza, I'm still here!

"Sounds like a plan. Maybe that hill over there?"

Trace ran forwards, pulling out another dagger and jumping towards Cadenza. Janice's body wasn't built for stunts; but that didn't mean Trace couldn't pull them off. She kicked Cadenza hard in the chest, throwing her to the floor. She slid on some of Cadenza's ice, sliding behind the sheet and throwing another dagger. She ran for Aryanna.

"Dear gosh. Any more of that pure, untamed joy and I might just explode." Fadran muttered. -
Leonas smiled. "Where would you like to go first?"

"Yeah." Trace said. "I did." She whipped out a dagger and hurled it at Jay.

Fadran grabbed the bottom of the rope and began running.

"That might actually be a welcome change."

"Well... we are going on an adventure." Val took a step back. "Teach me the ways of mischief!"

"I'd be content just spending it with you."

"So she'll live? With that... green stuff in her?"

"Right. Now, your job is to hold onto the lights. We're going to slowly lower you and spin you around the tree."

The figure looked up. "Hi, Cadenza. You miss me?"
