  1. "Color? Outfit?"
  2. "Please, Cadenza, just..." She shivered. "Don't make me think about it."
  3. "What does any of that mean? The whole... teleporting and... silver hair thing?"
  4. She squeezed her eyes shut, sucked in a deep breath, then opened them again. Janice put on a smile. "Nothing."
  5. "Yeah, but... what does all of that... mean?"
  6. "He's... Lord..." She desperately tried to remember some of the nobles' names. What was the name of that one guy? "Um... Nicolae. He's a manservant to the king." She remembered this name because of how often Robin complained about his flirtatious habits. Apparently, nobody save the Raveness was considered to be out of his league. @Shard of Thought
  7. Janice's smile faded. She pulled away, eyes distant. She paled slightly.
  8. "Just... everything, if you don't mind." @xinoehp512
  9. Janice giggled and squeezed Cadenza tight.
  10. "Who's your dad?" The guard asked. Wendy started to sweat. She had not planned this out.
  11. A tired-looking guard opened the door. "Hello?" "Hiya, umm... I'm looking for my dad." Wendy fidgeted with her fingers.
  12. Wendy approached the castle wall, took in a deep breath, and knocked.
  13. Wendy gritted her teeth as Arabella was pulled inside to be put at the mercy of the Raveness. She'd only heard the stories that Robin told her, but those stories were enough: perpetual screaming from the dungeons. No; she wouldn't leave Ara to suffer through that. She looked at the dress Robin had given her: it was the only tool she had, aside from the small dagger she kept at her side. Fortunately, for now, it was the perfect resource. Wendy unfurled it, grunting uneasily to herself at the neckline. She'd do it... for Ara. Right? Right? Ten minutes later she was wearing the dress, but kept her shirt on underneath. Dagger hidden beneath the folds of the dress, she stepped out onto the road and walked purposedly towards the castle.
  14. "Emi?" Ollie whispered. "Are you still awake?"

I would like to point out that this isn't properly punctuated.

    1. Condensation

      Condensation

      Yeah, yeah.

I should be using semicolons instead.

  16. Janice gave Aryanna one last quick hug, then snuck behind Cadenza. With a massive grin, Janice tackled her in a hug. @Condensation
  17. “Is it okay if I go hug other people?” Janice whispered.
  18. “Brother Sparrow!” Janice called. “This is Aryanna!” @Fallapede
  19. Janice nodded and put on a smile. After a few moments, she pulled away. “Do you want to meet Brother Sparrow?”
  20. “Okay.” Janice sniffed.
  21. “Promise I never have to leave you again?”
  22. Ollie dropped Candle at the base of a tree and collapsed, still in shock from the night's events. She closed her eyes and tried to sleep, but found that rest evaded her.
  23. During her time as a street orphan, Janice had learned not to cry. Crying was a weakness, and weaknesses weren't allowed in the streets. Still... it happened. Every urchin cried. Hers were more... pitiful than others. She was ridiculed for her long, dejected half-wails, half-sobs that she'd cry out with. If those were pitiful, then what she was doing now would be bad enough for the other urchins to cover their ears and run away; abandon the street and leave her to it. The sounds were muffled by Aryanna's shirt, but they were still audible. Somewhere deep in her subconscious, Janice wondered if it was possible to wash out tearstains; she was going to leave a massive wet splotch all over Aryanna's uniform. "I love you," Janice whimpered. "I'm so, so sorry..."
