  1. Ayia made a dash for the door, whacking the guards over the head with her staff and rattling the doorknob: locked. Go figure. She pulled a large metal sheet out of nowhere, holding it between her and the doorframe and Stabilizing it. Arrows richocheted off of it, protecting her well enough while she pulled out some lockpicks and began working at the door.
  2. Fadran shot them both a sympathetic look--though he doubted either of them would care--then placed his hand on Nath's shoulder. Holy Icona was he tall; Fadran found himself shifting his feet to find a comfortable position from which he could hold his arm. "Are we going right this second? What are the odds we'll get captured and killed? I'm just asking because leaving the camp without a leader would be... ah... 'undesireable.'"
  3. "Right." Alex set down the food and made for the exit. "I'll be back soon."
  4. So I've never written a book with pen and paper before.

Why? Typing's just so much easier. There are people out there that say it isn't true writing if it's done on a computer, but I have to disagree with them. Prose is prose, one way or another. It's still our thoughts being translated to a page. And I mean... none of the finger-painting cavemen thought it was heresy when people started painting with brushes, and Egyptians didn't fight the Romans because they used pens instead of reeds--the Egyptians fought the Romans because the Romans were invading them. That's unimportant. Moving on.

Regardless, I have found issue with the fact that my writing ability is hindered whenever I don't have a keyboard available. To solve this problem, last night I grabbed a notebook and a pen, then proceeded to begin writing a narrative on paper like a filthy freaking casual.

What's it about? Fellowship of the Thing members might've met a character named Ayia. This narrative is her backstory, among other things. I've designed it to exist within the Macrosmos; heck, not just exist. The entire thing's about a multi-universal empire.

So... woo. There you go. My status has been updated.

    Don't die!

Have you really met people who say it isn't writing if it isn't written out?

Uhh... can't actually remember. I just remember I had a class about the 70s and the Beatniks (an interesting generation, to say the least), and how they were the first people to really type out books instead of write out books. Apparently, folks back then were opposed to the art, and I imagine that there are still zealots out there (like Stephen King with discovery writing), but it's nice to know that I won't get attacked by the entire public for typing out a book.

  5. I'm hyped for the game itself because I've never played it, but I would have prefered Ocarina of Majora.
  6. Alright. I'm gonna get you out. Trace nodded. I'll find those weirdos and I'll get them to help you out.
  7. Not really...? At least, not any as direct as I used to.
  8. That sure narrows it down. Just check all the stores!
  9. I don't know where'd she be, but her friends are probably your best bet... and I bet they'd be more willing to come save my soul than Lena."
  10. Well... I told you what happened to me. The Queen was trying kill her before Siren got her out...
  11. I think you'd be surprised... and it'd be easier for me to find Janice and her friends than someone else. Y'know... Trace shrugged. Assuming she's still alive, of course.
  12. Check back a few posts. We're migrating to the void.
  13. You kidding me? She's terrifying.
  14. I could, yeah. But why would I want to do that?
  15. So it's not like this whole 'possessing' thing is a superpower. Trace walked over and sat down on seemingly nothing beside Cruz. It'd be much easier if I had something I could actually move around in.
  16. I had it downloaded on my laptop through an emulator. No clue how legal it was, but I beat it twice.
  17. "Are... you two tired?" Alex asked. Evidently, T had something to hide. "I can get you guys some sleeping bags, maybe..."
  18. Lemme summon Mystic... @Mystic Syn
  19. Listen, pal. That guy I was controlling earlier? Not even the general. To control someone directly, I need some kind of qhoral connection to them; otherwise, I can't hold it for very long and get ejected. I had to find an idiot, take over his body, use him to find the real Hawlay, drop a little something into Hawlay's soup, steal his uniform, newspaper-clipping the ID badge to look legit, then lead him all the way to where you guys were. All that just to get two minutes with you.
