    "I've been this way since I was three." Janice said quietly. Trace, having no clue how to respond to that, said to Shade, "possess who?"

    "It's easier when someone's really dumb or corrupted by Qhoral--" she shot a glance at Janice.

    "Well... it's not very efficient. I could maybe possess you for half a second before I lose my hold on you."

    Trace shrugged. "Well... I'm sure your reputation's pretty great." She turned her head around. "Janice. You coming?" Janice's eyes flickered up. "Oh. Yeah. Yeah, I'm... coming." She flung her cloak on, lowered her hood, and caught up with the others outside the room.
