    Anyways: I got my results back for L. Ron Hubbards Writers of the Future competition! How did I place?

    So I was going through youtube this morning ('cause I was dying of Covid vax and there was nothing else to do) when an ad played for a new show on Disney+. I skipped it (as one does), but from the two spoken lines that I heard from the ad, I had a sudden question:

    Was that... the Mysterious Benedict Society?

    So I looked it up and yes, it was an ad for a Mysterious Benedict Society show on Disney+ and yes, I just spent the last hour and a half watching the two episodes they have and WOWZA does it hold up.

      I have now watched the first episode because my brother put it on, and it’s okay I guess. I kinda really hate how much this relies on the “chosen one” trope. Specifically the “gifted orphan child” version of said trope. But other than that I guess it’s okay.

    Here's a status update: I have no clue how active I'll be over the next few days. Why? Because I'm getting my second dose vax and from what I heard that bugger SLAPS.

    So if you never hear from me again, it's because the darned thing killed me. Fingers crossed! (Not to die).

      Good luck! I was completely fine after my second dose, but my sister just got the second dose and she was sick for like a day.

      The first 2 episodes were amazing, but I feel like there wasn’t much development in the third episode.
