The amulet fell to the ground. Oh, thank goodness. Ellis ran over to Q and threw his arms around her, shamelessly kissing her right on the lips.

Calcifer's sword was out in moments. He crept to the door, looking through the peephole.

Just... hang on. Give me a sec... I take in a breath, then open my mouth to speak. Q and Gerald appear, completely revived and healed, in front of me. @Mystic Syn

"Clearly you've never dealt with an anansi before," Calcifer replied, trying to get his emotions back into check. "They're incredibly deceptive creatures."

Volts. Cumulo slipped his daggers back up his sleeve, searching for a means of escape.

"They're still flamable regardless of how many angels reside there." "NO!"

"Last time I hit you with my lightning I got a nasty shock." Cumulo replied. "But blades don't cut with vibrations, do they?" Two knives slid into his hands.

"The closest one is currently on fire, so we'll have to pick a different city."

Another jolt of lightning ran through Cumulo's system, pushing his body to speeds no mere human could possibly achieve. He was twenty feet away half a second later, growling about the loss of his blade.

"The single safest place we could ever be at a time like this is Ikea."

That was a mistake. Directing his reactions through his nerves with his electricity, Cumulo tossed his sword from one hand to the other. It shot up at Vespyr's wrist, intent at running it through.

"Both questions answered at the same time: because I've fought them before."

"I'm afraid we can't do that." Calcifer replied. "It's a little-known fact that every Costco is run by a devil."

Cumulo shot from anywhere to everywhere, kicking up sand and sea alike. He couldn't tell if Vespyr was following his movements; it came with his opponent being blind. Still, he wasn't getting anywhere by just running around. The dreadlord zipped up at Vespyr's face, slashing out with his blade.
