@Enter a username Not-Luxembourg accepts the Eakirandi’s offer for peace negotiations. With the Kingdom now at the mercy of the Queen of the Moon, the Eakirandi agree to the terms of surrender. The treaty includes amnesty for anyone who joined the resistance. Those who did so will be treated as civilians rather than traitors. The Eakirandi will also be allowed to keep their independence. In exchange, the Eakirandi must recognize the Queen of the Moon as the ruler of the Moons and the Eakirandi will have to pay tribute to her. The Queen of the Moon agrees to stop attacking Luxembourg, but she warns that the peace is temporary. She may resume hostilities whenever she pleases. ...I think it worked. Somehow. @CalanoCorvus, keep it going! (Oh yeah also while I was at it, @Shallan Stormblessed...) Lynara is adjacent to the Kingdom of Reabromore, the Auyaevell Empire, Republi of Vaebudal, and the United Kingdoms of Aniviel. Each of them were offered Moon Stones in exchange for fealty. Only some of them agreed, including the Kingdom of Reabromore, which gave its token to the Queen of the Moon. The Auyaevell Empire and Republi of Vaebudal refused to accept the Moon Stones and instead declared war on the Queen of the Moon. It worked decently enough. Reabromore and the United Kingdoms are now your sworn allies, while the other two are doing their healthy hearty best to kick the snot out of you! -

I decided to play fast and loose with this one; that is, make it all sketchy. Not exactly clean. Definitely not clean. But it was fun tho! But Fadran, weren't they supposed to have a black lab coat? You're correct. They were. And I did draw them with such. But it turned out like this... ...and frankly I decided that the last drawing would do just fine. But Fadran, weren't they supposed to have black hair? You want me to so blithely repeat my mistakes? I gave up on adding "color" to this B&W pencil sketch. Far too much at stake.- 122 replies

After the failure in weapons development, the Serenitan King decides that he will settle for quantity over quality as he orders the army's numbers to be tripled with a civilian draft in preparation to invade Lynaran-occupied Serenitas in the south. The new recruits are put through rigorous training before being sent out to war. Meanwhile, the Serenitans continue to work on their new weapon, the Horadrim Crossbow. By the end of the year, the Serenitans have completed their crossbows. The crossbows are made of wood, but contain an advanced mechanism that allows the crossbow to be fired automatically. The new weapon proves effective in the field. The Serenitans launch their attack on the Lynaras, leading to a fierce battle. The battle rages on throughout the winter. *** The Serenitans continue their march against the Lynaras, pushing towards the capital city of Lyrabar. The war is going poorly, and the Lynaras have little hope of victory. The Serenitans launch an all-out assault on the Lynaras, hoping to finally capture the city. They quickly overrun the Lynaras' defenses and enter the city. The Serenitans lay waste to the city, sending thousands to their deaths. The Serenitans proceed to take the city by force, killing anyone who stands in their way. ...I think you won. Meanwhile, the Gahestian Empire is locked into about five seperate wars. In response, the emperor brings together the remaining mages and scientists to buff the city walls and defenses, hoping to stumble upon some breakthrough to superpower the empire. After two years, the Gahestians still haven't found anything. They continue their research, but they still come up empty handed. The Emperor calls for a meeting, stating that if the research isn't fruitful within six months, then they'll give up. Most of the scientists, including the Emperor himself, are shocked by this decision. The Gahestians continue to research for another year, but nothing comes out of it. At the meeting, the Emperor announces that his empire will be withdrawing from the war front in order to focus on military matters at home. As the Empire withdraws from the war fronts, the citizens of the empire grow concerned. The Gahestians had been the strongest nation in the world for centuries. What will happen to them now? Many of the citizens petition the Emperor to reconsider, but he refuses. He states that the time has come to move on from fighting wars and begin building a new society. ...Huh. @Enter a username -

@Matrim's Dice In a fury, the Dalryan army gears up with their Titanium Admantite Armor and charges the Vaebudan empire, determined to conquer the nation by force. Despite their overwhelming advantage, the Dalryans are unable to defeat the Vaebuddians. In fact, the Dalryans suffer severe losses due to the Vaebuddian's superior strategy. Eventually, the Vaebuddians take complete control over Dalry, forcing the Emperor to surrender and cede the land to the Vaebuddians. The Emperor is outraged, and vows to retake the land. He refuses to submit to the Vaebuddians, instead ordering his army to march deeper into the empire. His army, however, suffers heavy casualties. Its numbers dwindle until only a handful of soldiers remain. One night, the Emperor decides to leave his troops and escape from the empire. He flees to a nearby village and hides there for days. One day, a messenger arrives at the village. The Emperor learns that the Dalryans have been defeated by the Vaebuddians. The Emperor realizes that the Vaebuddians are planning to invade Dalry. He immediately returns to the emperor's palace and prepares for battle. After a long and fierce fight, the Emperor and his remaining forces manage to defeat the Vaebuddian army. The Emperor triumphantly marches back to Dalry, where he is greeted by the locals. The Emperor leads the citizens of Dalry to build a new empire. You didn't win; but you haven't lost either. @The Unknown Novel Eshael Navar, using its newfound arsenal of weapons, presses the attack on Pitar, determined to conquer Pitar once and for all. The massive invasion force causes devastation across the countryside, including the destruction of many towns and villages. The Pitarian army, led by King Apis, manages to keep the Eshaelian army at bay, but is slowly worn down. The king, however, is killed during the battle. The Pitarian army retreats to the mountains, deciding to make camp there. The Eshaelian army soon follows. The Pitanian military finds itself trapped between the mountain range and the sea, which is heavily fortified by the Pitarians. The Pitanians, having no other choice, decide to use their remaining artillery to destroy the walls surrounding the city. The bombardment of the wall begins, and the Pitanian army suffers heavy losses. At last, the Pitanian army manages to breach the walls, setting the stage for a final battle. The Battle of Pitar lasts for three days. The Eshaelian army pushes forward, attacking the Pitanians from multiple directions. However, the Pitanian army remains steadfast in its defense. As the battle drags on, the Eshaelian army's morale wavers. The Eshaelian army suffers heavy casualties as the fighting continues. Finally, the Eshaelian army breaks and flees. The Pitanian army takes full control of Pitar. The Eshaelians are devastated by the defeat, but they have lost too much blood to abandon the war. You still have the advantage, but Pitar has evaded defeat for now @Shallan Stormblessed The Lynaran queen offers the Moon Stones, along with instructions on how to use them, to any lands who will agree to submit to the great Lynara. Many kingdoms recognize her offer, and pledge their allegiance to the Queen. Some, however, refuse to accept the stones. These kingdoms, led by the Republic of Astrym, launch an offensive against the Lynaras. The AI then proceeded to start the war, which I vetoed because Lynara and Astrym are about as far apart as it gets. I'm gonna be a lot tighter on borders and distance in the future. (Also I'll make it decide on which kingdoms swore allegiance later) (@The Bookwyrm, I figured I should ping you here) @The Wandering Wizard The Wrizrecan empire utilizes their eldritch knowledge gained from the Hive Mind soldier and experiments more with them on the Wrizecan-Ouphamenial border. They discover that when the Hive Mind soldiers are exposed to the Hive Mind soldier's blood, they gain the ability to manipulate the elements. Wrezracan decides to combine the Hive Mind's powers with those of the Elementals. By combining the Hive Mind's elemental abilities with the Elementals' innate magic, the Wrizricans create a new breed of soldiers: the Wrezrecan Elemental Soldiers. The Elementals are trained to use the Hive Mind's powers, while the Wrezrecan soldiers learn to control the element of fire. When combined, the Elementals and the Elementals' magic can be used to channel and manipulate heat, creating a devastating weapon. However, not everyone is happy with the creation of these soldiers; the Hive Mind soldier has awakened. This time, the creature is a force to be reckoned with. It possesses incredible power, and it is quickly able to get past the Wrizrecan security systems. As the Wrizrecan Empire continues to expand, the Hive Mind soldier grows increasingly restless. The creature wants nothing more than revenge. The soldiers of the Empire begin to fear the day the creature will finally emerge. You have acquired a new resource: elemental magic! Hi! I'm back. Glad to be back in this chaos @Sequence, when you're ready. -

Fearing retaliation from the Gahestian Empire, the Republic of Astrym recalls its army and fortifies its homeland. They evacuate many civilians into airships that hover in the sky above their island, and wait to see how the other kingdoms react. The Republic of Astrym sends a message to the other countries, begging for peace. However, the other kingdoms refuse to respond, and the war between the Republic of Astrym and the Gahestian Empire continues. The Republic of Astrym, with its small navy, has little chance of winning a war against the larger Gahestian Empire. In order for the Republic of Astrym to survive, it needs to find a way to strike back at the empire and bring it down. The Republic of Astrym's military comes up with an idea: They can set up a trap. A large number of warships would fly into the sky above the Gahestian Empire's airspace. The ships would then drop bombs on the city, causing as much damage as possible. The plan is simple yet effective. If it works, the Republic of Astrym could cripple the Gahestian Empire's economy and gain some ground. Unfortunately, the Republic of Astrym's airship fleet is nowhere near as large as the Gahestian Empire's. The Republic of Astrym has only one squadron of bombers. Even if the fleet succeeds in bringing down the city, its planes alone won't be able to cause significant damage. The fleet will probably lose a lot of men in the process. Still, the fleet's officers believe that the plan is worth trying. If the fleet fails, they'll just retreat and try again later. While the fleet is still in the planning stages, the Gahestian Empire discovers its plot. Its spies infiltrate the fleet's headquarters and overhear the plans. The empire's generals decide to act first. They send their own fleet of airships to attack the Republic of Astrym's main base. The fleet destroys most of the Republic's airships and captures the rest. The fleet also captures a number of naval vessels. It then uses its airships to bombard the Republic's capital, killing hundreds of citizens. The Republic of Astrym now knows what happened to its fleet. The fleet's officers are furious. They blame the Republic's politicians for letting the Gahestian Empire know of their plan. They vow to never trust the nation's leaders ever again. Emperor Sell discovers the plot against him, realizing that the people of Name-Ed will always be divided unless they have an enemy to hate. So he assassinates the treasonous Grand Vizier and blames it on the Gahestian army. War is declared within days of this, and the mighty Demigods once more are unleashed on the enemies of Nam-Ed. The Gahestian Empire makes good progress against the Republic of Astrym. The Empire's air force strikes hard at the republic, destroying nearly all of its ships and crippling the country's infrastructure. The Demigods then march towards the Republic's capital. The Republic's navy fights back, but the Demigods' superior numbers overwhelm the Republic's ships. The Republic of Astrym's army marches to meet the Demigod army head on. The two armies clash at the border of the Republic. The war lasts for a few months before the Gahestian Empire's army finally gains control of the region. The Republic of Astrym's navy quickly retreats. They realize that the war isn't going well. The Republic's soldiers retreat to the Skycastle, hoping to regroup and prepare for another assault. The Demigods, however, do not pursue them. The Emperor believes that the Republic's soldiers will eventually return, and he orders his Demigods to leave the Republic's territory. After several weeks pass without further contact, the Empire declares victory. It tells the world that it is done with war and turns its attention to rebuilding the country. @Matrim's Dice, your turn. -

Shoutouts to humanity for successfully crashing a satellite into an asteroid!
Y'know... just for the heck of it.

I mean, better that we figure out how to do it now. It actually worked better than planned - they just wanted to change the rotation of the asteroid a bit. They ended up making a major alteration to its orbit.
-
Lol. Someday that asteroid will crash into an alien planet. They'll find the satellite and go, "umm... ALIENS!"

Now at war with two countries, the Gahestian Empire seeks out allies. It sends envoys to the western Kingdom of Reabromore, offering great magical boons in exchange for their military might. The Kingdom of Reabromore is greatly impressed by the offer, and accepts. A few years pass, and the Gahestians begin to create a new magic item. This time, they ask the Kingdom of Reabromore for help. The Kingdom agrees, and sends a group of its best wizards to assist in the creation. The wizards are given the task of creating a new magical staff, using the rarest materials available. These include the bones of dragons, the teeth of giants, and the wings of birds of prey. The Gahestians believe that the new weapon will make them invincible, and that no army in the world will be able to stand against it. Unfortunately for the Gahestians, the wizards of Reabromore create a different sort of weapon: the Staff of Dragon Bones. This staff is so powerful that it can turn any enemy into stone, making them completely immobile. The Gahestians are terrified of this new weapon, and decide to destroy it immediately. They send their armies to attack the Kingdom of Reabromore, hoping to crush the country before the wizards of Reabromore can undo the damage done to their own land. Unfortunately for the Gahestians, the wizards of Reabromore also have access to the power of the Dragon Bones Staff. The wizards attack the Gahestians, and turn them all to stone. The Gahestians, powerless and immobile, are eventually defeated. The surviving members of the army return home, while the wizards of Reabromore continue to work on their new weapon. In proper AI fashion, my proposal for an alliance quickly turned to getting the snot kicked outta me. @Enter a username, your turn. -

After being saved from extinction by the warrior called Aladdin, the Lynaran people experiment with the Blue Stone of Life that he granted them, hoping to discover the full extent of its power. They soon realize that it is linked to the Moon, and that they must find the Moon Stone in order to fully unlock its potential. The Lynarans hunt for the Moon Stones, but are unable to locate the Moon Stones. Instead, they decide to build a new city, one far away from the forest where they were previously located. In the process, the Lynarans discover the Moon Stone, and become aware of its power. The Lynarans try to use the Moon Stones to summon a powerful god, but fail. Instead, the gods manifest in front of them and kill several of their people. The gods then leave, and the Lynarans decide that they should never use the Moon Stones again. The Wrizrecan empire suggests an alliance to the Zunotis through a marriage, offering his firstborn daughter to the Prince of Zunotis. The Princess is horrified at the idea of marrying someone she doesn't know, but agrees anyway. Upon arriving at their destination, the princess meets the Prince, who is handsome, charming, and very much like the other men she has met, except for one thing: he is actually an alien! He explains that he comes from another planet and that he was sent to Earth to seek out the best warriors. After seeing the Princess fight, the Prince decides that she would make a great wife for himself. The Princess is furious that the Prince is going to take her away from her family, but she remembers that she agreed to marry him. She uses the opportunity to escape back home, but is captured by the Zunotis soldiers. She manages to convince the Prince to save her, because she believes that he will be able to defeat the Zunotis if he goes alone. The prince agrees, and returns to the capital city with her in tow. Upon his arrival, he defeats the army stationed there, but the Zunotis King orders the princess to be put to death. The Prince is so enraged that he reveals his true identity as an alien, and the King attempts to have him killed. Fortunately, the Princess intercedes on his behalf, and the Prince becomes king instead. He creates a new government system that includes a cabinet made up of various aliens, and gives the throne to the Princess. @Sequence, we're on to you -

The Dalyran Council of Six approach the leader of the Republic of Vaebudal through a pair of messengers, offering to join forces in light of the growing conflict elsewhere. In return, they offer to allow the Vaebudan scientists access to the well of power beneath the Dalryan mountains. The Vaebudan representative rejects the offer, saying that the Dalyrans are too weak to help them. When the council of six refuse to budge, the Vaebudan representative calls upon his allies to aid him in getting his way. The Dalyrans are invaded by an army of lizardmen, led by the Dherg. The lizardmen, who have recently discovered the secrets of the Well of Power, want to use it to become immortal. However, the king believes that the victory is his due, and insists that the Dalyran ambassador be executed. With the Dalyran soldiers dead, the lizardmen and goblins feast on the bodies of their enemies. I guess Vaebudal is a republic of lizardfolk and goblins? @The Unknown Novel, your turn!
