    @Ookla the Myopic: have a Mercury Methinks I'll try to draw Quest or Kealie tonight. Maybe Vance if I can't get into the vibe. We'll see what happens.

    Kaeni did not want to be fighting monsters this early on. There was no telling just how much energy was left for her to use at this point, let alone for the inevitable beasts facing them up the slopes. To think they'd be attacked already... She'd have to play it safe for now. Kaeni dropped backwards and grabbed her bow, slinging it out and pulling an arrow back against the string in one fluid motion. It took only a couple instants to aim right at the monster's head, then a second longer for the tension in the twine to hurl the arrow forward into its face.

    A few updates:

    • I think I might quit my job. I dunno. I'm not in a good place mentally or emotionally to keep going right now.
    • Did I mention I'm not in a happy space? I am quite depressed right now. I know that hasn't been showing through here on the Shard, but it is indeed the case.
    • No, I don't plan on dropping all my RPs. I require roleplay to survive at this point and it's honestly a really healthy way for me to keep occupied and get some writing practice in.
    • However, I am going to ask for your guys' help with something. I've known for awhile now that I have a really bad habit of taking over conversations and such with stuff that's happened to me. It's a problem. I don't think it's technically narcissism because medically speaking a narcissist isn't aware (or doesn't care) that they're a narcissist, but it's still pretty bad. I'm going to be working on fixing that, so if I ever get talking about me too much, feel free to either point it out or just straight-up ignore what I said and move along in the conversation. Hopefully soon I'll start to take a friggin hint and start learning basic scudding empathy again.

      Ooh ooh could you pretty please do I’ikeq? With his water blades? He wears mostly black and dark blue, and he has a cool jacket that you can decide the exact design of :D

    Kaeli was heading their journey, a blazing ball of flame hovering above the palm of her outstretched hand to light their way. So far a number of monsters had come a touch too close for her liking, but upon seeing their numbers most had fled pretty much immediately. The kinds wandering these lower hills wouldn't be very keen on hunting people - it wouldn't be until they got up a ways that something would take a chance at some mages for dinner.
