  1. "Did you really just ask if an inn had any rooms?" Fadran procured a key from his pocket, glancing at the number. "A...28. Just down the hall." He pointed to his left.
  2. Icona, now incredibly worried, decided to take drastic measures. The crayon began to levitate, then lightly tapped the boy on the hand. Fadran frowned. "I've never met anyone named Dave before."
  3. "Sure is. Try not to hit the clock tower on your way up." "I designed this place as a gateway for wanderers and adventuring types: people without anything better to do, really." Fadran pointed down at the western edge of Maybe St. "Three years ago, people started randomly showing up on a little side quest I was doing. With Nath's help I managed to pinpoint the cause of that phenomena and weave it into the essence of this micro-universe."
  4. "Anyways," Fadran muttered, turning around to face the horde of newcomers. The little lad would have to wait: he had a million other problems right now. "Hello! Everyone. I'm Channelknight Fadran. Ahh... welcome to the Fellowship of the Thing, I guess."
  5. "No games. Violence is fine." Vance stepped away, letting his companion take the front lines. "Alright, Kealie. Let's see how that bunny magic of yours works in a fight." @The Halcyon Girl
  6. Cherry raised an eyebrow. "So you're willing to throw that kind of money at people? Who exactly are you all?"
  7. "Channelknight Fadran, at your service." He bowed a little bit. "You?" "Room or roost? We have a space on the ceiling for large Grade-A magical creatures, but I'm sure we can find a place for him if he'd prefer something more cozy." Can you go... do something about the kid? Fadran asked. Icona seemed concerned. It might be best to let him cry for now. He's crying? The god swore. Honestly. I'll... very well. Please don't burn down my inn. In the little lad's room, Icona started subtly shifting everything: making it a bit warmer, cozier; the works.
  8. Fadran returned from the bathroom. "What the-" Turning to Nath, Fadran said, "Did... I..." He looked back at the ocean of new people. "What?" Amidst the chaos, Fadran offered the little lad a cookie. It wasn't even spiked.
  9. "Now, now - what exactly are we getting out of this?"
  10. Fadran, a little hesitant, walked over and handed the kid his key. “I guess you don’t have to talk. Let me know if you need anything.”
