  1. The shirt was a deep brownish-red. On the front it read "I survived my shift in the Junk Yard."
  2. "So... bye." Fadran hopped off to his room to take a shower. A bin full of clean clothes appeared for everyone to change into.
  3. A sudden, incredible burst of power emenated from the wyvern. Kaeni panicked. Its claw slammed into her, sending her plummeting through the air. She barely managed to contain her fall, twisting to her side to spare her already significantly damaged spine. Instead she ground against the jagged stone on her arm, screaming as it tore through skin and muscle. As she came to a halt blood began to gush out from the wound: she immediately moved to cauterize it, draining all her energy from it to dull the pain and its resistance to fire. Someone would have to heal it for real later, but for now this would do.. More importantly: what in the hells had that been? It was a power akin to the likes of when she condensed her energy into her knives, but with a hundred times more force packed behind it. She'd sensed it as a buildup of heat coming directly from the heart. Whatever it was, it most certainly couldn't be good.
  4. "Regular grass produces a cooling effect when used. People use it to help in ventilation for hot days."
  5. "It's just how many we have. They're potted, so they aren't really replantable."
  6. No. It's just the stuff they do is important to the plot.
  7. "Yeah, and even then we can only take a certain amount for conservation efforts."
  8. "I think you're forgetting that plants take time to grow. This pass is for an expedition in two days."
  9. "I have my hands on those ones. There are just a few others that we'll need that are a little more difficult to get a hold of."
  10. She leapt backwards, kicking off her foot to avoid both attacks. But even then, the moment she hit the ground behind her she darted back forwards with a slash of her knife. The sudden jerk between motions was uncanny, seeming to defy all the natural laws of the world. What's more, her new attack was just as accurate as all the rest despite how unnatural it was.
  11. "Oh--GAGCK." Fadran covered up his eyes and turned away. "What the worlds do you think that's made of?"
  12. She plugged up one of her nostils to hawk out a glob of blood and mucus. "You so insist on having yourself killed today?"
  13. She kicked to her feet the instant the hound fled, and wasted no time in charging the captain again. Fresh pain flared across her free hand, but she grabbed another knife regardless to slash in an X across the man's face. He wasn't anywhere near as strong, fast, or skilled as the likes of opponents she'd managed to defeat before... but sitll, that didn't make him any less of a real threat. It took taking every fight seriously to stay alive in a world this harsh and unforgiving.
