      I didn’t like Lord of the Rings. Idk why, it was a bit slow. Each read it gets slightly better, but not amazing.

      I remember borrowing the The Lord of the Rings over and over from my local library, they were some of the first fantasy books I ever read (Heavy as anything to carry home too.) Kid me occasionally got confused by the very old-fashioned prose, but loved them anyway. Thank you, Professor Tolkien, for creating such magnificent books. Happy birthday!
