  1. "Did you expect it to be easy to gain a weapon able to kill and overpower beings whose powers are only limited by their imagination?" He snorted. "I leave at dawn. You can come or stay behind." Nameless walked towards the gathered Narrators. "I have a plan" He announced. "In order to defeat Sugar, we must send a group of Narrators to the fabled temple of blades. This journey will be long and arduous, so only the strongest among us can go. No non-narrators. Any volunteers?" He looked around expectantly.
  2. "The Temple of Blades holds all the greatest weapons in existence. Those who travel to it will be given any weapon they desire. You can only gain access if you are a Main Character, which is why I need your help." He showed Nobody the map. "To reach the temple, we must travel through many trials. The trials are different for each group, and will test us to the limits of our capabilities."
  3. "You don't what? Know that the narrators are evil? Know that you could help stop them? Know that they killed your friend without even knowing who he was? The Narrators have to be stopped, and you are essential to my plan." He nodded at the phoenix. "Your shape-shifting abilities are unique. You take on both the powers and the attributes of whatever you turn into. Without you, I'll never be able to access the temple of blades."
  4. He walked up behind Nobody. "Do you see now? The Narrators must be stopped. Their tyranny has gone on for long enough." Nobody turned to He, tears in his eyes, then asked, voice ragged: "You have a plan?" He smiled.
  5. I watch Grian, most of Mumbo and Iskall's hermitcraft stuff, and occasionally Xisuma.
  6. I do not think that. I meant what I said. Although I would like to ask whether you have seen this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tsar_Bomba Even if one Nuke wouldn't kill all the Elantrians, I see no reason why we couldn't simply send say... a hundred nukes into Elantris, completely evaporating the entire city, along with everyone in it. And how would they get to us with no infrastructure? Are they going to magically appear on earth? Without technology they have no way to get to earth, unless you can reach it from the cognitive realm. People don't live in bunkers on Roshar, they live in houses designed to survive a Highstorm. The crops would still die, the people would still get radiation sickness, and though the Radiants could mitigate that, they could not stop it. That's even if any Radiants survive. I see nothing stopping us from nuking Urithuru, which would likely kill not only Dalinar, but a large number of Radiants as well. The vast majority of Radiants would be in the cities that would be destroyed, so I don't see a strike force coming to earth anytime soon, assuming they can even get off-world. As for soulcasting the fallout away, that is not feasibly possible in a reasonable amount of time. I can see them doing small areas, but the entire world? No chance.
  7. The way I see it, there are two scenarios: 1. We nuke every cosmere planet into oblivion. Even if the Elantrians can survive one nuke, they couldn't survive us nuking Elantris a dozen times. And even if they could, we can turn their planet into an nuclear wasteland and kill off their entire population, leaving them alone in their city. On Scadrial, one fullborn might survive, but the rest of the population? Not so much. Roshar also goes down to nukes, as does every other planet in the Cosmere. 2. We invade with military. This scenario is were the Elantrians, Fullborn, and Radiants come into effect. The winner of this scenario depends on how effective the magic users are at killing soldiers.
  8. A nuke would kill all or most the Elantrians in it's blast radius. To get a shield over the entire city, you would have to draw a massive aon. There is no way to do this in the amount of time you would have before the nuke hit. A few hundred nukes, and the entire planet of Scadrial becomes uninhabitable. The Fullborn might survive, but the rest of the population wouldn't. The Fullborn would eventually run out of metals to compound with and die, unless they figured out how to get large amounts of gold to compound with.
  9. I hereby nominate Mushroom catalog for the title of official reference-getter.
  10. #ShopAtSahara First person to get this reference gets my vote for reference-getter of The Last Post Wins.

  12. This is the order of the Tastebreakers:
  13. Senescence
  14. He jumped at the voice echoing from the heavens, then looked pointedly at an earlier narration: "Was this PLOT? No, it wasn't. It was simple, unthinking, unfeeling destruction. Narrators have too much power. With a single sentence, they decimated the entire Ghanderflaffle empire. The battle was over, the rebellion was victorious, and then the narrators began it again. They didn't even bother to say whom we were fighting. You know the worst part? No one even questioned it, except for me. It was just what the narrators do. They kill hundreds of thousands of innocents, leaving the few survivors to pick up the pieces of their ruined lives. I for one have had ENOUGH. I will make them pay for what they've done, you have my word." He turned his back on the narrator's voice and walked away, radiating fury.
  15. He was another survivor. He strode through the ruins of the battlefield, looking for survivors. There were a few survivors, and those with physical wounds, He could help. Not all of the survivor's wounds were physical, however. He stared sadly at a small group of huddled soldiers. He had healed their injuries, but their minds would take far longer to mend, if they ever did so. He sighed. "How many lives must be ruined by those blasted narrators." He turned and looked up at the sky, then unfurled a map. If the narrators thought they could walk over He dragonslayer, ruler of a thousand kingdoms, they were mistaken.
  16. Bob sat in the middle of a field filled with bodies. "What have we done?" He wondered, staring at the ruins of what had once been the capital of the great Ghanderflaffle empire. Another survivor walked up, telling him something about Joe, but Bob didn't care. All he could think about was his fallen country, the country he had loved so much.
  17. The emperor of the Ghanderflaffle empire looked out over his domains for the last time. The war with the candy had been too much. His people, already tired of constant warring and turbulence, had finally had enough. Fires burned throughout the capital, the remnants of his army had joined with the rebels, as they marched towards his palace. The few guards who remained loyal to him fought desperately, giving their lives to buy their leader a few more breaths. He turned, sighing. It was over. He signaled his guard captain. "It's over. Tell the guards to stop fighting. Tell the rebels... tell them they can have me."
  18. "And how would you know that if you didn't work for them?" Nameless challenged, summoning his narrationblade.
  19. The only reason that Fleet beat the Storm was that Taln growled at him. Dawnshard is just another word for Taln's fist. Taln made Reshi greatshells because he wanted some nice lapdogs. Taln gives the Nightwatcher a boon and a bane. Taln made fire stick. Adonalsium made Roshar in an attempt to make Taln seem small. It didn't work. Taln can out-eat Lift. Ruin was created to be Taln's trash can.
  20. "Replicate and destroy" would be a good command.
  21. Nameless gasped. "Is this true? answer me Jacob!"
  22. Lightweavers speak four truths. Shallan has spoken three as of OB. If Shallan keeps lying to herself, she might not make progress in her oaths, but she will not kill Pattern unless she "goes back on her oaths" or lies to herself about the truths she has already spoken.
  23. Pattern won't be killed by Shallan lying to herself unless Shallan lies to herself about the truths she has spoken as ideals.
