    Moni sighed, sitting down on the floor and pulling the survey out of her pack. Here's your story: Moni ignored him.

    "You think I don't know that? The withergeist would have had me as itself: a monster, a destroyer. I see the lies it told. And I see the lies you tell. You tell me you care, when all you care about is looking like a hero."

    Moni pulled her shoulder out of Thaidakar's grip. "I've seen what you think like. Life doesn't matter to you. you want to know what the withergeist showed me? It showed me Sequence accepting it's control. It showed me you trying to become a withergeist yourself. It showed me the uselessness of life, the beauty in destruction." Moni sighed. "Why do you care about this stupid survey? What do you want from me?"

    Moni turned her back on him, refusing to answer. "I am fine."

    Moni sneered. "A piece of Nameless. Hah! Like he ever cared about me. He made me as a pawn for his enjoyment. He killed me over, and over, and over again. Just to make me feel mortal. I'm glad you can't save him. I hope he becomes a withergeist, so that you will finally pay for your hubris."

    Moni stopped, breathing heavily. "At least one narrator got what he deserved. For all your powers you couldn't heal Nameless, could you? There's the consequence to your actions. You were the one to drag him into the battle. It's your fault he's dying. And your godlike powers can't fix that, can they?"

    Moni threw the knife at him.

    Moni tackled him again, pulling a knife out of her pack to stab him in the face.

    Moni glared at him. "I hate Narrators. Manipulating reality to your whims, uncaring of what you mess up in the process." Moni took a step towards Thaidakar. "I should kill you. I should destroy everything. Maybe then you'd have some sort of consequence for your sins."

    Moni lunged across the room, grabbing Thaidakar by the throat and slamming him against the wall. "Leave. Me. Alone."

    Moni gasped, sitting upright. She whipped her head up to stare at Thaidakar, eyes unfocused.

    Moni mumbled incoherently.

    Moni screamed, falling to her knees. Pain, bliss, fear, and peace all mixed together horribly within her.

    "Well I trust Withy the Witherlord. To make sure Sequence KILLS US ALL"

    "Are you kidding me? She's about to kill all of us. Just because I've died thousands of times it doesn't mean I want to die again. This time would probably be permanent."

    Moni stared at Sequence for a moment, frozen. Then she spun on the wanderer "Wait, what? Actually, hold that thought. We've got to survive this battle first. Uh, do you have any weapons?"

    Too much talking, not enough killing stuff. Moni grumbled something under her breath. "Fine. Can we not do the whole directly confront a Narratorgeist in open combat though? Some of us aren't immortal. I suggest ambushing Sequence.

    It had just realized that it wouldn't get to destroy its home, as Withy had already done that.

    It wanted to destroy more than just everything.

    Moni gestured to the book. "This book contains all known records of withergeists on TLT. So far as I know, no one has ever recovered after such a serious wound." She sighed, standing up. "But I guess a withergeist might have some knowledge that this library doesn't. I can't believe I'm saying this, but your plan might actually be our only option."

    Moni snapped her book closed, then handed it to Thaidakar. "Well, good luck with that. Even if Sequence does feel regret, I doubt Withy would be so lax in his control as to allow such a valuable tool the freedom to rebel."

    "Withergeists are abominations. They don't care who they owe a favor to. In fact, most of them are mindless evil. In all the history I know, there have only ever been two sentient withergeists. Withy, and Sequence."

    "Your plan was stupid though. You were going to reason with a withergeist." There's too many people to double post .

    "Hm, that does sound bad. So that's why Thaida-" Moni cut off as Thaidakar slapped her. "Ow. What was that for?"
