  1. Nameless informed Thaidakar that Sequence had already told him who Everyone was, but Thaidakar had forgotten it. "Hm. Well, maybe X just went on vacation or something. That happens sometimes, right?"
  2. It does work that way. The stronger you are, the faster you can burn metal, and the more powerful your pushes/pulls/soothing/rioting/copperclouds/seeking/whatever becomes.
  3. If they spiked someone twice as strong as themselves. Unless you’re saying that they give themselves two sets of 16 spikes for allomancy, in which case yes, they would be just under three times as strong.
  4. They would lose less, but still a little bit. Hemalurgy is Ruin’s magic system, and Ruin is all about entropy, so I don’t think you could ever make it 100% efficient. You’ll always lose at least a tiny bit.
  5. "I, hm. That sounds ominous." Moni considered for a moment. "You don't think his disappearance has anything to do with the withergeists, do you?"
  6. Not normally. Hemalurgy normally loses a bit of power, so if they spiked people of the same strength as themselves they would end up with a little less than double their previous power. If the people they spikes were more than twice as strong as them, then they could double their power. However, using hemalurgy, especially at that level, makes you extremely vulnerable to being controlled by any shard or even soother/rioter that wants to control you, and fullborns have a much safer alternative. Using feruchemical nicrosil, they can store their powers and then compound them. That would allow them to become extremely powerful without having to kill tons of people or opening themselves up to mind control. I do not believe so. Aluminum is basically like a rock, as far as pushes and pulls are concerned.
  7. Moni scratched her head. "But you don't know where X is?"
  8. "Well, that part might not be possible for you. I'm the avatar of a narrator. Unless you can become extremely important to a narrator, that won't work."
  9. "That's different from not dying. I'm not very good at that, statistically speaking."
  10. "Well, in general you have to not do anything most narrators want you to and avoid anything that looks remotely dangerous, while simultaneously being extremely interesting so the narrators don't explode you out of boredom." Moni hesitated briefly "That said, I'm not the best person to ask for advice on the subject."
  11. Moni patted poor 655 on the back. "Don't worry. Thaidakar's a total jerk, but he hasn't tried to kill me directly yet. Just don't listen to any of his insane plans and you'll be fine."
  12. Moni glared at him. "655, who are you, and how exactly did Thaidakar kill you?"
  13. Moni pulled out a ladle and waved it threateningly at Thaidakar.
  14. Moni blinked. "Wait, welcome back? Who is this guy?"
  15. Moni stared at the note for a moment, then shrugged and dumped it into a pot of boiling water.
  16. Moni pulled the jar out curiously and opened it to look inside. Nameless was staring at a danish that had somehow found its way into his hand.
