  1. Nameless shook his head. "Look. If we let him keep his memories, he's going to try and escape. Why would slowly regaining his memories change him as a person?" AdoKho smiled, taking a step back and summoning his own blade and plate. "I am on the same side I have always been. Against you. It took and army of your copies to kill me last time. Do you really think you can kill me one on one?"
  2. Nameless glanced at Rond, who was babbling incoherently. "Yeah... too late for that. His memories are completely wiped." "Then promise to revive my friends if the Witherlord kills them. I won't finish it then." AdoKho smiled, still standing in front of Mythos. "Did you think you could escape so easily?"
  3. Nameless sighed. "If he leaves the premises, he gets extreme pain. If he isn't recaptured in a week, or tries to escape five times, he dies. If he tries to make another experiment like Mythos or Abomination, he dies." "What? Who is AdoKho? I don't know what you're talking about." The knight had a genuinely confused look on his face.
  4. "I thought you said the survey was safe with me. That the Witherlord couldn't take it as long as I was alive."
  5. "Fine. But if you can't bring him back to the premises within a week, or if he makes another experiment, he dies." The knight who was definitely not AdoKho stared at the spot where Mythos had disappeared. "Have I met him before? Anyways, my quest's going well! I've found the proper sword, and now all I need to do is track the dragon to it's gave and slay the beast." Moni hesitated. "Eventually."
  6. Nameless' face hardened. "I am not going to let him make five more monsters. Why do you care about his life so much?" AdoKho stood in front of Mythos. "Hello there Mythos. I'm so glad to be able to kill you." Summoning his blade of shadow, he stepped towards Mythos, eyes burning.
  7. Nameless rolled his eyes. "You're not a god Thaidakar. I'll modify the curse to start with extreme pain, then kill him. Does that satisfy you?" A voice spoke from behind Mythos. "Hello Mythos. It's so good to see you again."
  8. "In that case, you'll have to wait. I don't know how to kill the Witherlord. I don't even know if I can hurt him."
  9. Nameless glared at him. "You don't see it? You don't see how dangerous he is? He could destroy everything. And you just want to let him get off scot free? You don't care? Just because he's your friend, you would let him live. Even if letting him live destroys everything you love. really? That's pathetic." No, it isn't, but Mythos sees it that way. Mythos jumped as the ground caught fire. The fire spread up Spook's leg and across his body, charring the flesh to ash. Spook didn't seem to notice, staring at Mythos with a concerned look.
  10. "In that case, I have no choice but to kill him. I will not let him become a threat again. Intense pain can be worked around. Death cannot." No, he's not. The rotted corpse spoke as if nothing was wrong. Mythos stared in horror. "Oh. I thought making you into one sword would trigger the 'only as strong as one rather strong person' clause."
  11. Nameless shook his head. "No. Let it be an incentive to you to keep him from beginning his experiments again. I will not compromise on this." Spook's eyes were empty sockets. His flesh was rotted. The screams in Mythos' head grew louder, more accusing.
  12. "I'll put a curse on him that will kill him if he ever continues his experiments. In any way." Spook gasped suddenly, blood seeping from the gaping hole in his chest. He collapsed to the ground without a sound.
  13. "Oh? And your idea will let him escape easily? Fine. As long as you let me add one precaution." Mythos was having a very bad day. His head reverberated with the screams of those he'd killed. Visions of death filled his sight. To his eyes, Spook was standing over a field of corpses. Every one his own. Mythos shuddered.
  14. Rond promptly collapsed to the ground. Nameless nodded. "That should make him safer." He grabbed Rond and opened a portal to an isolated island in a pocket dimension, shoving him through and closing the portal. "His memories are gone. I'll lock him away on this island for all eternity, or until someone convinces me he's safe to let out."
  15. Nameless barely looked at him. "That's a nice glow you have there. Don't worry, this won't kill him. Probably." Nameless threw Rond into the river.
  16. Nameless grabbed Rond. "I have a better idea." They disappeared.
  17. Nameless reappeared. "I didn't expect you to not react. I hoped you wouldn't, but I knew you would. Look at him, Thaidakar. He's a monster. We have to stop him before he causes more harm."
  18. Nameless stared at him in contempt. "You have not healed them. You have given powers to very dangerous people. You have turned them into monsters. And you will not stop. You've seen that hundreds of your creations are going to join the Witherlord and you're not going to stop. So I'm going to make you stop. It's simple."
  19. Nameless shoved Impossible out of his way and stalked over towards Rond.
  20. Nameless didn't flinch. "What? You going to stop me? Rond has created an army of narratorgeists that are immune to Earwaxium. He tried to have one of his 'experiments' kill me. How am I in any way wrong to kill him?"
  21. "Great. So you don't know how to kill the Witherlord. In that case..." Nameless' Narrationblade formed in his hand.
  22. "Then tell me. I'm running out of patience here."
  23. Nameless nodded. "Right. That won't work, so... yeah."
  24. "Yeah? Fine. Rond, tell me how to kill the Witherlord, and I will spare your life."
  25. "No, he doesn't. His 'experiments' are going to join the Witherlord." "Okay. In that case, I think I'm done with questions."
