    Rep killed Fawful and stuffed his body in a sack to deliver for a bounty later.

    Rep was even more annoyed by this, but he went back to Everyone and used an inverter ray to get the crystal back.

    Unfortunately for the Quarkbeast, Rep had recently acquired an anti-Quarkbeast cannon.

    He figured it out pretty quickly, of course, and started looking for the real thief.

    Rep groaned softly. "Stupid kid." He began stalking after Hunter and the Palicoes.

    Rep ignored them, sheathing his sword as he walked.

    Rep flattened himself to the ground, cloak absorbing the explosion. After it was over, he stood up, dusted himself off, and continued walking away.

    Rep's sword launched a glowing net, disintegrating the bullets and wrapping Hunter in crackling energy. "Killing you makes you stop trying to kill me. I'd say that's something."

    Rep burst out of the explosion, sword pointed at Hunter's heart.

    Rep dodged the bullets, blocking one of them on his sword. "I thought I said to stay out of this. You deaf or something?"

    Rep kicked Hunter onto his back and knocked the sword from his hand before he'd taken more than two steps. "Stay out of this, kid. They don't call me the best bounty hunter alive for nothing."

    "I'm only here for the crystal, and you know employers don't commonly tell me why they want something."

    Rep grunted. "Not anymore." He pulled out his sword, pointing it at Nowhere. "There are two ways this can go down. You know how one of them will end, and I would prefer to avoid such... harsh measures. Give me the crystal."

    "I'll let Nowhere tell you. It's his crystal." Rep reached the door and stepped outside, then turned around and started walking away from the lab.

    Rep caught the hellfire on his sword. "It's a prison. With a very dangerous prisoner." He continued backing towards the door.

    "Well, now that I've got that monster off my tail, I have places to be." Rep started walking away slowly, hoping Nowhere wouldn't notice the stolen crystal.

    Rep was prepared for this eventuality and cut out of Malice's stomach.

    Rep immediately grabbed the crystal, causing it to vanish in a flash of light.

    Rep glared at Malice. "I told Nowhere I'm not going to hurt it. Back off."

    Rep looked around the room, noticing everyone. "No hard feelings, right?" He turned back to the crystal, reaching towards it. "I was just doing my job."

    Rep sighed, standing up. "What'd you trip me for? I told you I wasn't going to hurt your stupid crystal."

    "Don't worry. I won't." Rep ducked out of the way as the Darkbeast smashed through the wall, careening towards the crystal.

    "Pretty good." Rep strode over the crystal, examining it. "I see you've kept this thing around."
  25. NameIess
    Rep chose this moment to smash through the wall.
