  1. This guess was incorrect. Nin's apprentice promptly fell off the twenty foot ladder that he was standing on.
  2. And of course any Narrators who were keen-eyed enough to guess at the true identity of Nin's apprentice.
  3. But more importantly, he would have grown as a person and started on the path to redemption.
  4. Nin replied in the negative, saying that although he had once trained under Nale, he was in fact a Legendary Ninja, not a Herald of the Almighty. Additionally, he apologized for the confusion, but informed Bookwyrm that he was not, in fact, a member of the party. He was merely here to set his apprentice on the correct path, before allowing him to follow it on his own feet.
  5. The Eizard's final trial was simple, yet frustratingly vague: Ascend.
  6. He found nothing except for a name. Adreus the Spellbound, a notoriously evil mage with a penchant for casting irreversible curses.
  7. Nin considered Steven for some time, before eventually coming to a realization; Steven was cursed. Exactly what the curse did, he couldn't tell. But it likely had something to do with Steven's constantly evil nature.
  8. He'd actually started to see the group as friends. As he started dashing towards the bowl to grab as much food as possible and feed it to as many starving people as possible, he felt, for the first time in his life, a hint of genuine regret.
  9. Nameless managed to put up a cushion of air and stop himself just before running into the fire.
  10. Unfortunately, the rules of the trial stipulated that no one could eat the food. The group simply had to watch while it slowly rotted.
  11. Absolutely delicious food. The most delicious food in the thread, to be exact. The next test was to fast for three weeks, next to the bowl of the greatest food ever made.
  12. Unfortunately, the Eizards had two more trials, according to the all-important rule of three.
  13. Fortunately, the Eizards didn't know there were two.
  14. Nameless dove headfirst onto the thirty minute slide.
  15. Unfortunately, this method was just about the hardest way to kill Idea.
  16. Nin's apprentice wasn't sure that such a powerful idea could be killed, but decided to give it a try anyways.
  17. The (mostly) peaceful Eizards presented the party with a trial to prove their worthiness.
  18. And his right hand was chopped off for attempting to touch it.
  19. At least, they were nonviolent until Butt attempted to steal the R.C.M.P.
