  1. "So, you've just been dust this whole time? Why'd you show up here?" The creature hissed, grip tightening on its Plotblade. "You have strength. I need strength to take Vengeance on those that killed me." The energy's rage subsided as it was assimilated into the creature. "Join me, and I will take back that which has been stolen."
  2. Moni nodded to the refrigerator. "Feel free to get yourself one. Cups are in the cabinet on the right." It is the Plotblade of Unity.
  3. "Yes. That chicken is clearly very intelligent."
  4. Moni looked at her hand. "Do you need a glass of water?" He would be able to determine that the creature's consciousness is made out of an amalgamation of the souls trapped by its Plotblade. Most of those souls have been almost entirely annihilated, then repaired with raw power, so the thing is rather unstable.
  5. “That’s the spirit!” Moni patted 655 on the shoulder. “I’m sure she’ll leave you alone. Just don’t get in her way and you’ll be fine.” — The creature watched the destroyer with interest. “You are powerful.”
  6. I come out of the back and sweep the Caterpillar’s ashes into a really nice urn. Then I give you all a plate of delicious chouta, delivered fresh from the Horneater peaks.
  7. Moni shrugged. “Try not to let her manipulate you. Try to be boring. She probably wont be too interested then. Unless she decides to make you not boring anymore.” — The creature blocked the green light, sucking the attack into its Plotblade, then rammed the sword into the shield. The shield resisted for a moment, but the Blade’s red glow intensified and a moment later the green glow was gone, the creature’s blade moving to claim the destroyer’s soul.
  8. Moni waved away the rock vapor that had filled the house suddenly. “Her name is Subversion, and she’s a big fan of not caring for morality.” — The creature’s sword shone a deep red and absorbed the explosion. Before the smoke cleared, the creature was lunging towards the destroyer, sword aimed for his heart.
  9. The creature raised its own blade. “You will not have my Blade.” — Moni looked at Trlc with concern.
  10. The creature hissed. “Your Plotblade? It is ours. Do you seek to take it, as they did?” — Moni shrugged. “Sorry. Don’t want to make my Author angry at me. He might sick that new Narrator of his on me.” She shook her head. “You’ll want to stay away from her. She’s worse than Nameless ever was.”
  11. The creature’s grey eyes slid away from the destroyer, examining the platform. A deep red glow burned within the thing’s chest, flaring in apparent anger. The creature growled, gaze moving back to the destroyer and speaking in a gravelly voice. “Where are they?”
  12. A humanoid figure approached, ash flaking off of its deformed body as it lurched towards the platform, dragging a sword with it. Its eyes locked onto the destroyer. — Moni froze. “Uh, I can neither confirm nor deny that statement.”
  13. A cold wind blew across the platform, carrying with it the faint scent of ash. A scraping sound came from behind the destroyer. — Moni shook her head. “I’m no Narrator. Just an Avatar of one. Or maybe an ex-avatar? Im not sure how it works when an Avatar’s Narrator no longer exists.”
  14. “I believe so, yes. It was a long time ago.” Moni turned to look at Nerdy. “I can’t say what happened. I’ve only told one person, and he won’t be telling anyone else. Not sure what my Author would do if I told the secret around, but I’m sure he wouldn’t care if he wasn’t planning to bring it up later.”
  15. “I can’t say. My Author has made it very clear that he doesn’t want the details getting out.”
  16. “Nameless? He’s my Narrator. Well, I guess I should say he was my Narrator. You’ve met him.”
  17. Moni groans inwardly. “Can you write? I have paper.”
  18. “I don’t speak chicken. Do you speak english?”
  19. Moni glanced at Trlc. “Uh, are you waiting for something?”
  20. “Good for you.” Moni frowned at all the newcomers, fingers unconsciously wrapping around the hilt of her knife. “I suppose I’m being dragged into plot again? I thought this kind of thing might stop with Nameless gone.”
  21. Moni snapped her fingers. “Ah! Survivor 655! That’s your name.”
  22. "Sure. Let me just get a list of all the numbers there are."
  23. "Yeah, I'm sure it was a number. Just... which one was it?"
  24. "Yeah! It was... uh... Eight hundred?" Moni frowned. "That doesn't sound right."
