  1. DC or Marvel?
  2. I don't think so, I think the process started while he was still in Hearthstone. When Syl mentioned "another voice. Pure, with a song like tapped crystal, distant yet demanding…”, I think that was Tien
  3. I mean, it is possible. Tien clearly loved his brother, doesn't mean he didn't sometimes resent the fact that he always had to prop him up. I think it may have been a feeling that he was ashamed to have and so he put even more effort into being the perfect little brother, but I don't think it'd have been an issue in their relationship unless it really festered and the two brothers were anyone less than who they were.
  4. What if he was fed up with his big bro?
  5. I wish for the ability to make people walk in one another's shoes (like the saying, not teleport around people's footwear)
  6. Just a minor correction: banish not kill Re-Shephir
  7. Eh, there's just one extrovert. We can take 'em
  8. I don't think they really care all that much about taking sides in the upcoming conflict on Roshar, they're just there for the profits. I'd say they're mercantile, not just in the business sense, but in the philosophy sense. They go where there's profit, they deal in info and resources (and are apparently better than Khriss & the 17th Shard at accessing and acquiring things, though not better than Hoid). And that's all that they care about. Mraize does tell Shallan that they want her to subvert Sja-Anat, so I doubt they're on Odium's side. Also, they knew what Order she belonged to but didn't tell Odium who assumed she was an Elsecaller. And clearly they've infiltrated Urithiru quite well, there's a lot more that they could've done to sabotage them but they don't really seem to care beyond profiting off the conflict
  9. I'm seasonal. We have so many festivals here and with it comes food, I dedicate at least 6 months, usually autumn, to glorious food and then afterwards it's exercise time so I've sported both paunch and abs, though never that... cut. Currently neither though, I want to since there's not much else to do but eh, kinda unmotivated Speaking of, what's your fav season? and festival?
  10. I mean, just because your username's 'Salad' doesn't mean we need to talk greens, do we? but since we've started already anyways... there are vegetables I really can't stomach like okra and squash, do you have any that you don't like?
  11. Hello @Jekan! Welcome aboard Dish out your favourites (of everything)
  12. Hey there! Welcome to the Shard!
  13. Huh, just 1? I'm not really surprised. I think the extroverts are over on social media or watching movies right now, not surfing internet forums
  14. This is the quote from the 68th Epigraph of HoA. This is as far as I know the only mention of how a Mistwraith is created That is how they (meaning, their kind) were first created but how do they reproduce? Some of the WoBs regarding Mistwraiths and Kandra (like the one pitching the possibility of training the former) do seem to imply they were not all once human, the Terris Feruchemists that Rashek transformed using the power of the Well Edit: the site just glitched so I didn't read your new posts till I posted this No mating, huh? Hmm... well, it is something that he'll have to answer eventually Do we have any answers/theories/ more hints or indications?
  15. ...as I was saying before that weird malfunction happened they were relatively common during the Final Empire and easy to encounter out in the far off Dominions and even in the Central Dominion away from the population centres. No way could their numbers have remained stable enough for that to happen
  16. Spoilers are allowed here And like I said, I've read Mistborn in its entirety I don't think that's true, all of the Mistwraiths couldn't have been from Rashek's Ascension. I mean, they are hunted, they are killed, they are relatively c
  17. What he said: Please, or else this question would haunt me And oh, I'm aware of the WoBs regarding the complications with the Kandra and human biological similarities and compatibilities. Like with DNA and whether modern medical equipments, it was thinking about that that made me ask this question
  18. Do they use the genitalia of the organisms that they've consumed? Do they just divide asexually like cells? Do they have genders? Kandra seem to but I don't know how that might correspond to actual reproductive capacity since they're shapeshifters and creating new Kandra requires Hemalurgic spikes and a Mistwraith not a Kandra mommy and Kandra daddy or Kandra and a clinic. Kandra gender is probably a matter of self-identification rather than reproduction.
  19. Yeah but I know what you mean. I thought he wasn't really Thaylen too. I looked it up on the Coppermind and the Arcanum and was quite surprised when I found out. Maybe Mraize is from way before the Thaylenah of today, maybe even during the dawn of the Silver Kingdoms, who knows (yet)?
  20. Here are some WoBs on him:
  21. ^ This. Also, introverts open up a lot easier than extroverts, though the latter are much more friendlier and easier to open up to. I think I saw a comparison once that said introverts are like plateaus stacked on top of one another, while extroverts are like hills. The former are much more difficult to approach first but then open up a lot while getting to know the latter is a steady process It was fun to ruminate on but ultimately like all groupings, this division too is a generalization and if you think about it, arbitrary due to subjectivity
