Hoid is a very strong contender for this. If anyone can or knows what ore shattering Sel magics were like then that is Hoid.

I don't know Trav , i think the bagel bond is more like Snapping. 

Like if you deprived a Mistborn or feruchemist of metal. It doesn't matter how powerful she is , she will be open game.

Metal is the focus in Metallic arts , symbols on selish arts , I mean u still need the spiritual connection to preservation or the Dor , you will have it even if don't have metal or symbols , but that doesn't make focusing elements like metals redundant.

Similarly i think u need Spren to be in physical or/and cognitive  proximity to you , they act as the Focus allowing you to bind surges . The Nahel bond is the Spiritual connection to the Spren , it is necessary but I don't think it alone is enough. 

Just like how you need metal ( pure metal or a alloy with a very specific ratio )  to be able to access allomancy and influence things on the physical and cognitive realms , not just the sDNA . 

Similarly , u need the Spren and stormlight too I think. 

Of course , we can't be sure. Maybe u are right Trav but I think u need the Spren . 

Breath is indeed quite different since it requires neither focus nor connection. Anyone can use it , anytime . The only requirement is color which you find anywhere . Huh , very different in contrast to other systems.

Hmm yes it is possible that you are right. We need stormlight for sure which I see as a equivalent of metal as in fuel for Allomancy. 
Also I think may be radiants will find a way to take spren off-world 

seems very unlikely though
