    That is actually a very good point, you are very insightful, thank you. The only thought I have for that is that it could be used to highten the mystery of Rall Elorim instead of removing it, we still don't know why Mishram wanted to go there, for instance.

    That isn't how depression works, it isn't a linear path to "recovery" it's an off and on battle that can span years depending on the individual. Kaladin litteraly started avenging the wrongs Roshaon did, but he stopped, he didn't feel it. I've done similar things, you think you know what you want but when you actually do it, it leaves you dissatisfied.
