  1. If anyone going wants some questions to ask I have dozens.
  2. TLR should not be used as an example, and when forced to become more rounded by threats that can actually hurt them they will far and away outpace any twinborn. No Twinborn can do anything combat oriented better than a radiant could, but a Fullborn can match them and not just one specific type but all of them. Moving faster isn't going to get you the results youi want, when in motion the human body shifts, and it shifts more at higher speeds, and you will lose the fine control you want. Weight affecting pushes is in dispute, Aluminum works against Scadrial to, their compounders can't heal from it. Are you refering to the shardhemet he used as a shield against shardblades? Human terminal velocity is about 120 mph, that is equivalent to a single lashing, all without taking plate into account. One Lashing puts them at over 120 mph (200kmph) add in multiple lashings and plate and they can be from a safe zone to blade range in seconds. And Oaths compell them to aid thier comrads So why does Scadrial get the time to build a large standing army, heavy artillery develop knowledge of hemalurgy, but Roshar can't do a little R&D? But during that time, they will be isolated and alone, a time which Radiants can operate, they are dead either way. *Lift *Progression I'm not sure what you are saying for that last part. Harmony is a single Shard so there is a case for one Allomancy, Feruchemy, and Hemalurgy are different systems so there is a case for three There are ten surges but all but Adhesion where blocked(Lift being wierd aside) so there is no case for more than three.
  3. Frustrating Fact:

A year is more than 365 days, but less than 365.25, it's actually 365.2425 days.

Which is why year divisable by 100 but not 400 is not a leapyear, so if you where born on Febuary 29th you could go seven years without a Birthday. Which you would excperience roughly every 25 years old you where.

  4. Well I had an intresting one this weekend. I have come to the conclusion that D&D players are just the worst, no matter what you do they will find the perfect way to ruin it. I have set up this amazing sandbox world with dozens of different plothooks for them to explore, and what do they want to do? Build a ranch. I wish I was joking.
  5. No, Fortnite is not Cosmere
  6. Well here are all the important events following Doomsday, roughly in order Formation of the Eggpire and Snowchestire Dream's imprisonment Forming of the Syndicate Introduction of Foolish Eggpire tires to intimidate Foolish Forming of Las Navadas Red Banquet Techno's Birthday.
  7. Techno's stream is called "The Favor." I'm still not sure how to handle the emotion.
  8. Every man felt that.
  9. Brother Tomad snorted in disgust, and for the tenth time since he had been made acting Bishop, considered petitionaing the Patriarch to excommunicate Ivian. He eventually decided against it, but the option looked more and more appealing.
  10. Top 7 Lets go!

oh did I never reply to this

      yeet

  11. "Patriarch Ados said "You can best judge a man by how he acts with those in his own home." If that is the standard for your allies Ivian I find your character lacking. You know I cheered for your corination, I had hoped you would be an end to the bloodshed of the Crown Wars, but you have merly put a nice face on it."
  12. "Not what she ment. You cannot rule by force, this is a discrace to the crown you wear."
  13. Brother Tomad had watched in shock, he had heard what the king was like, but seeing it was something he wasn't prepared for. "Ivian, what was that!"
  14. Well Trell can definatly worldhop so that isn't much of a problem That's a bit of a strong statement given we know next to nothing about Bavadin Related to a specific shard and one of the pre RoW ones
  15. Assuming you could somehow someway get a spren to bond, could they act as a spike? In blade form yes, in spren form no, Could they remove the need for a lynchpin? Stormlight healing might keep them alive without it, but if they ever stop holding it they would likely die, And it likely would not protect them from emotional manipulation there would simply be too many holes in their soul.
  16. Ok first respecting the law and obidience to a code of law are different things, a Skybreaker doesn't break the law when they think no one is around to see, they hold to a code and refuse to bend. And do not call them Odium's order The Skybreakers of the past would be horrified at what Nale has done to them. Sorry, Skybreakers are my favs.
  17. Following of Oaths(Covenents) or lose power. Separation of power(Stormlight) and Authority(Oaths) ETC Yeah, I've noticed
  18. Allomancy is powered by Preservation not the mists.
  19. Well it isn't impossible for a human to swim through a sewer, doesn't mean any would want to do it.
  20. Spren would avoid bonding spiked people, an Inquisitor would probably be all but unbondable
  21. Please no, oh that image is painful to see.
