    Well first off any Shard can give access to any magic system, so you are right on that point. However Voidbinding and Surgebinding are not the same thing anymore than Feruchemy and allomancy are. Cultivation has a magic system independent of Surgebinding There are only ten surges and only the Rosharan ones would have a distinction. Welcome to the Shard

    Yeah, he's also said Lift uses Stormlight Um, I recall nothing of the sort I count 4 there, way under ten. If we add Parshendi forms Old Magic Dawnshards Fused Regals Unmade We end up with 10, or we could even switch some of those around, it's all in how you count

    He did not say Fabrials were ten Brandon specifically says that Cultivation has a magic system beyond the Old Magic, not Cultivation+Odium Um, no, that's a real thing that can happen

    Eh, he's said there are anywhere from 3 to 30 magic systems in SA. So Why do Odium and Cultivation get their own systems but not Honor?

    Well it's an Honorblade for one. Teleporting in Physical, walking through stone, altering their physical shape. None of these are possible for anyone else. Can be, just like you theoretically could use Stormlight to power Feruchemy, but by default you can't change them.

    Oh, yeah. Only if they are using a TrueBody, which they don't have to do. Also forcing a shapeshifter to take an X-ray is easier said than done.
