  1. We know Ba-Ado-Mishram is your favorite Unmade but how do the others hold up? So far what's your favorite secret project?
  2. If mind control is a thing how are you able to trust anyone, ever. Gpvernments would spend trillions just trying to find a way to ptrvent it. It would vause the most totalitarian states to bevome more tyrannical, etc. If it was just one person who could do it they would likely be executed before they could cause any harm.
  3. John grunted, doubling over as his breath left him. "You.. want to play..." He wheezed standing upright. "Let's play." John pulled his small propane tank out of his back and opened it. It flew past the mystic followed shortly after by a lit match.
  4. John watched the hand fly towards him, he could have moved but he didn't. Allowing the fist to connect John grabbed the mystics arm and pulled him in for a grapple.
  5. "Shut up." John said firing his gun again. "Don't even acknowledge him, you aren't worthy of that."
  6. He can be the Koloss Elend kills.
  7. I don't know that any stories actually dive into the social ramifications of mind control. Like there are a lot of things that could go wrong if it was even remotly possible, and there are a lot of precautions that would be taken but most stories seem to just ignore it.
  8. It's not always eyes, red smoke rises from soulstamps because it corrupts the soul.
  9. Well I'd assume that if you used whatever trick there is to turn Breath into Stormlight you would make corrupted investiture.
  10. I don't see a difference. Especialy with Towerlight and Surgebinding.
  11. Compounders don't have red eyes. And the definition of corruption is co-opting another shard's investiture, which I'm going to assume means switching it's Connections.
  12. Ack I mean Glys renarin's spren.
  13. Glys is though.
  14. Thank you. I'd say probably give, as he would have been tempted by Endowment, and acts very similar to Virtuosity. I have considered that more times than I can count, however I don't think it works. Countries can be autonomous bodies that are internally united. The main purpose behind the religion that is mainly inspired by Devotion is to unite the world through love. Ruin and Odium both speak with Passion with great importance
  15. Kandrafish is correct Secret Project spoilers take precedent here.
  16. Been meaning to post this for a few days now.
  17. Note where is said "Paraphrased"
  18. No, they really would not. On a state side each city was it's own country, so there wasn't a state/federal split we see today. And on the individual side: Sparta was a totalitarian state, Athens allowed you to be tried and executed for speaking, also you could be voted into exile for ten years, etc.
  19. Yeah but it also makes it a weird match with Ho-Oh. If Lugia's second type was water then they match a bit better, each having a 4x weakness to something the other has a base weakness of, Rock for Ho-Oh electric for Lugia. And since posting I have decided Multiscale is for the best. Thank you. I'm not sure what I was thinking with Steel, that was just me being dumb. Well the first reason is psychics bad deffencive matchups, the second is that the one of most common psychic power is telekisis. And if you throw a rock at a telepath they are just going to freeze it in the air. Rock is also a great offencive type, though I suppose it is pretty bad on deffence.

@Thaidakar the Ghostblood yeah, that's the Frustrating part.

I reccomend writing at least 100 words six days a week, it really fast tracked me.

mkay, thanks Frusty! I get at least four hours a week of writing, and that worked for me until cowriting the book with my friend got a little frustrating and boring, except I can't just gently let him go because he had the idea for the book.

  21. The Spren want someone to live up to the oaths, not to change to live up to the oaths, so he'd be a fine canidate.
  22. He said it was Endowment, though that was in 2013, and your WoB is from 2015 so it could have changed
  23. Why have you never read Aether of Night?
