  1. It is missing but Charchach did not bring it ro Braize it was already there. Taravangian said it to himself, and it was in the Diagram. "She handed him a small bundle of his favorite jams, all the way from Shinovar. Those were increasingly rare, now that the trade into the strange country had cut off. The Diagram indicated it was likely one or more of the Unmade had set up there." -RoW page 292 The only thing that required to be a Bondsmith is the Honorblade, actually taking Ishar's place in the Oathpact wouldn't do anything. No, she was just in Shinovar "'They[the Shin] are . . . Unpredictabe,' the Herald said. 'I eventually left them behind. They tried to kill me, but that I could take. It was when they started to worship me . . .'" -RoW Page 248
  2. It wasn't that far, and he sent a signal to Dalinar via the Windrunners so obviously not something he can do long distance. Taln took his blade to Braize when he died at Aheriatam because he was still bonded to it.
  3. What makes you say that? Additionally the Stormfather was aware of other people than Gavilar, as well as what they were doing. He also hid his form when other people came in, so Gavilar wasn't the only one who could see him.
  4. If he could do that much against Gavilar who wasn't even a full Bondsmith, why did he have to touch Dalinar?
  5. Was Gavilar a Bondsmith? For clairification are you asking me to allow you to continue to theorise? Or to stop coming up with problems with it? I don't think anything is off.
  6. Ishar doesn't manipulate Connection in RoW until he touches the individual. Both of those seem to be built as evidence for the God Beyond. He has a pre-established Connection to Kal. She was made by Cultivation "Specifically to defy my(Stormfather's) will."
  7. Something else I thought of, how would Ishar manipulate Gavilar's connection without touching him?
  8. I'm pretty sure it was Gavilar that said he would make a place of endless war.
  9. Ok, explain to me what he needed to hijack the stormfather's visions for, which somehow the Stormfather didn't notice, so that he could try and make either a Bondsmith or Herald. Yet felt no need to rush them, but rather focused on finding the perfect individual to fit the job. What could that accomplish that somehow forming his own kingdom is faster at? If he has his blade why worry about not having the right person for the job? He could make anyone the right person. His plans did not change immediatly, he dicided that Gavilar was the wrong person, he says "If I try again I will do it differently" at 57:40 He still wants someone to say the words. Additionally Gavilar is probably the only one who thinks he is going to become a Herald "Oh Gavilar, there is so much you do not know. So much you assume, and the two never do manage to meet." 53:02
  10. Of course @DramaQueen
  11. If Ishar could so easily hijack the Stormfather's visions why did he stop doing it?
  12. I'm very intrested in the words the Stormfather wants Gavilar to speak. Apparently Is close, does anyone remember anything in The Way of Kings quotes that's even remotly close?
  13. If that was all he wanted why all the pretence around saying the words and why does he regret choosing Gavilar? Why doesn't he just do it? He didn't have his blade until recently. Even if you ignore the timing of the Unmade Ishar only began his experiments recently. My thoughts exactly.
  14. They speak the same way. Both rumble with disapproval. Both are full of themselves, and he complains before doing what Gavilar asked, just as the Stormfather does with Dalinar. The Stormfather says in the prolouge that when he finds his next candidate he will treat them differently. And on top of this what does anyone have to gain from impersonating the Stormfather?
  15. But not only was that not the Stormfather dying it wasn't even a real death.
  16. Also Ishar does not have future sight so how could he know Szeth was coming?
  17. He seems convinced that the Oathpact was broken. So obviously he gave up on that avenue after the Everstorm came and(in his mind) rendered the Heralds useless.
  18. Adonalsium was not all powerful, he can't make decisions for other beings.
  19. How does an Unmade simmer without making its presence known?
  20. When Taravangian refers to the Unmade he is speaking to himself, so no one to lie to. Additionally Shin trade has been weird lately adding to the evidence.
  21. Vistim's visit means that the Unmade was not in control until years after Gavilar's assassination. Ishar said there was an Unmade and that Szeth's father was dead. Taravangian said the same thing. See above. I think it's the same Stormfather, however after seeing what Gavilar does he decides to approach bonding differently. I'm assuming replacing the Heralds will become a big point of SA 5.
  22. He is immortal, so he could have just lived forever He took it because of Unmade in Shinovar which the Diagram and Shinovar's broken trade confirm It was. That falls under the territory of the God Beyond.
