I stood up for my standards today. We are doing a unit on Horror in English, and we were going to watch It in class. First of all, it is illegal to make us watch that without parental consent. Second, I said that I didn’t want to watch it. The teacher didn’t care. So I added that my parents don’t let me watch R rated movies. At first people told me to be quiet. But then another person said something similar. Then another. Eventually about a quarter of the class wasn’t allowed to watch it/really didn’t want to. Yay.
