  1. Thanks, I didn't know. I'm rather new to this, and am still trying to get everything down.
  2. Yeah, I just checked. what did you mean by Cosmere on the brain? Sorry it's a bit of an obtuse question.
  3. That is REALLY COOL. how did that happen though - people marrying parshendi? voidbringers? what happened? Are Veden part voidbringer? And do parshendi only have red hair? I thought they could have black hair too.
  4. I think Rock can see into Shadesmar, at least partially. He is able to see spren in the physical realm that nobody else can see. Also, he mentions being able to see part of the sprens body towards the beginning of OB. Perhaps this has something to do with the story that he told his friends about why the Horneater peaks are warm? Any thoughts? I thought I posted this topic already, so if I did I'm sorry.
  5. I know there was a soundtrack made for WoK/Kaladin, and it was awesome. Can we expect more?
  6. Well, keep the idea in mind if you can. Thank you
  7. For admins: Is it possible for members to suggest possible tags for each topic so if the author of a topic forgot to insert tags, people could suggest missing ones and it will be easier to find what you are looking for. Thanks
  8. I'm sure that this has been talked about but I couldn't find a topic about this so here it is. I think that Rock (and maybe other horneaters) can see at least partially into Shadesmar. He's able to see spren when nobody else does, and mentions towards the beginning of OB that he could see something of the rest of the sprens body. How does the ability work, and why does he have it? Does it have anything to do with that story he said about Horneaters living up in the peaks (when explains why the peaks are hot in WoR).
  9. What would happen if a mistborn burnt shard-material? iron that was messed with by a forger and turned into steel?
  10. I agree - Venli will definitely do more than talk and sit around. Are you happy that you're probably wrong?
  11. where did you here that? I try to follow spoilers, but it's hard to find accurate/useful information without spending days upon days searching
  12. seems like it would occur past the last ideal.
  13. so the spren and the person become one entity? do their personalities begin to merge?
  14. The Identity, though, we just said, is because of what they view themselves as (and maybe what people view them as?) Again, IF WE/THEY VIEW THEM AS HEALTHY SPREN. That should heal them - that would be my theory.
  15. for each character, what do you think their myers-briggs personality type is? Specifically radiants.
  16. Spren only bond to those with gaps in their spiritual web. If a spren would fill such a hole, then the person becomes even more broken, could another spren come along and make the radiant a double radiant (with two spren)?.
  17. the whole idea is that there is a gap in the spiritual web, and the spren fills it, I think. so from the sprens perspective, if you can trick it into forgetting the first bond, then you could (theoretically) could do so. And yeah, I thought about the summoning problem. that's what prompted the question.
  18. I think it's just going to be in book 4 (at least, I hope).
  19. so if you fill a shardblade with a massive amount of investiture, might it be easier for the sword to "heal"? Especially if you give it time to adjust to the idea that it's a live, healthy spren. Also as a separate idea (maybe this should be a different post) if a radiant found a way to "eat" a spren, since it's basically consentrated investiture, would that fill him or her with stormlight? That might be a way around the Weeping. I just realized that this post is a bit of a non-sequitur.
  20. Would it be possible for multiple gems to be put on a shardblade, then have multiple people bond the same shardblade?
  21. It sounds like the population of spren is set, as it takes a spren to make a spren.
  22. It's all investiture - like Nightblood feeds off of stormlight. This only answers one part, though
  23. I suppose you're right - but what makes the difference between the gems inherent in shardplate and shardblade? I think it's possible to replace the gems of shardplate - somebody correct me if I'm wrong - but wouldn't that mean that the radiants didn't need the gems in the first place? My understanding is that it feeds on stormlight to repair itself. Maybe since it always requires stormlight to heal, there never is enough to bond. Sorry if this is a bit rambling.
  24. In Oathbringer, the Stormfather mentions subspren and true spren. I think that perhaps subspren (assuming that they're the spren with little intellect like gloryspren, anticipation spren, and even windspren) might be able to become True spren (assuming they're things like Honor spren and Cryptics) given the ability. Syl supports this theory, though because she mentions being raised by an aunt - from what? I'd guess that she was raised from a subspren upwards. Also, maybe dead spren revert to their previous form. Though its interesting - that would mean that more than ten types of radiants are possible because even if you subscribe to the theory that there are two types of subspren for each radiant type (for windrunners, general theory states that it is windspren and gravitationspren) and I'd assume that there are more than 30 types of spren, 10 * 3 (2 sub, 1 true), or even triple it (for each magic system)
