  1. Jenny nodded, happy with both of Edgar’s answers. She had been worried he’d hurt himself more by refusing help because he didn’t want to be a bother. She skipped over to the pavilion slower than usual for Edgar, halting and wavering when she saw Roy. He was going on a quest with her. Was she supposed to sit with the whole group?
  2. That was about what Jenny had expected him to say. Not great, but at least it wasn’t worse than she had thought. Hopefully their first few days of travel would be uneventful. ”Let me know if you need help with anything, please.” She looked towards the dining area. ”We should probably go ahead and eat. I’d like to make sure I have enough time to finish preparing everything for the quest.” She’d fallen asleep annoyingly early.
  3. “I’m feeling great! My burns only hurt if I poke them.” She poked her cheek as a demonstration. ”My cuts are still there, but they’re really easy to ignore. How are you feeling?” He didn’t sound like he was in pain, although Jenny wasn’t a reliable judge of that.
  4. Jenny opened the door. She now wore multiple hairbands on both of her wrists, determined to ensure that her bun would stay put. Five daggers were hidden in various places on her person, including her favorite celestial bronze one. She wore a black, long sleeved shirt that was a bit frilly in spots. Her pants were jeans of the exact same shade. She was excited to have an excuse not to wear the orange camp t-shirts. Aside from some faint shadows under her eyes, she seemed to be her usual energetic self. Her physical wounds, however, were not yet completely gone. The long sleeves concealed the burns on her arms, but the cheek wound was still noticeable. It wasn’t particularly bad, but evidence of the original burn still remained. She smiled immediately, happy to see Edgar, but it slipped away as she saw his poor state. His burns and gashes still looked bad, and he needed a walking stick. Jenny forced a smile back onto her face. She didn’t want to make him think too much about his pain; there wasn’t anything she could do to help. ”Good morning Edgar!”
  5. I still hate it
  6. Why is there a bite taken out of this candle? How was I supposed to know that was illegal?!
  7. I whine really annoyingly until you give me the sandwich so I’ll shut up.
  8. No, they’re stupid and everybody knows it! Many people wear costumes for Halloween.
  9. Dude, please just take out the trash. I’m just gonna ignore that.
  10. Granted. Your hair occasionally catches on fire. I wish for snowflakes to stop being unique.
  11. There’s probably a few bugs in my room. My solution to finding one is just to leave until they disappear somewhere because I don’t want to squish them but am also too much of a coward to try to remove them. TPBM is secretly a dog that has learned how to type.
  12. “Yeah, no” is the opposite of “No, yeah”.
  13. I’m up for that and I’m down for that mean the same thing, and I really don’t like that.
  14. His gaze is ice cold enough to extinguish fires just by staring at them.
  15. Chuck Norris can start a fire using an extinguisher.
  16. My cat and dog are currently both sitting next to me. TPBM has more than one potted plants.
  17. Jenny smiled back. Even though everything seemed absolutely terrible, it felt like she’d be ok so long as Edgar was there. She was slowly realizing how awful being alone had been, what she had been missing out on. They eventually arrived at the Hades cabin, and she carefully shifted so that she was supporting her own weight again. “Goodnight.” She walked to the door, but turned back before opening it. ”And thank you again. For being kind.” Jenny then went inside and flopped on her bed, falling asleep instantly.
  18. Chuck Norris can successfully order a Big Mac at a Burger King.
  19. Seeing Edgar’s Gift become a leg brace, Jenny reluctantly leaned on his arm. Her exhaustion had finally won. She hoped that the brace would keep him from falling over. Jenny still felt terrible; Edgar was in awful shape. But she was admittedly in awful shape too. The news of their impending quest and the fact that she was probably the number one thief suspect weighed on her just as much as her injuries. “Thank you.”
  20. The Lord of the Rings?
  21. You got it! ‘Twas my childhood
  22. Technically four, although one is on pause and it’s been a while since I posted in another one (despite my character running it). TPBM uses an alarm clock.
  23. Jenny, now worried that she would collapse from both exhaustion and anxiety, began to stumble towards the Hades cabin. Her day had started out so well. She was going to win capture the flag with her new friend Edgar. While they had technically won, the day ended with both of them beat up and a massive new target on her back. @Weaver of Lights @RoyalBeeMage
  24. Jenny’s face fell, and she nodded. Edgar was right. She wouldn’t be able to make any more real friends, at least until the quest was over. She probably wouldn’t have other opportunities afterwards, though. Jenny looked at Edgar, then down at herself. They both were in rough condition. ”Could we maybe wait until tomorrow? I think Edgar and I need a little more time to recover.” @RoyalBeeMage
