    "Ember!" Star cried frantically. "Let her go!" Ember removed her hands from Shadow's throat but looked at Star in anger. "She needs to be taught a lesson." "Not that way," Star hissed. Ember growled at Shadow. "Star is not for you to touch," Ember said. She got off of Shadow and glared at her.

    "No," Ember said, emotionlessly as always. "But I'm not afraid to do this." She grabbed Shadow's throat with both hands, her fingers searing into Shadow's flesh.

    Ember slammed Shadow to the ground, pinning her with her foot, and raised a molten fist threateningly. "She asked you to apologize," she said again.

    Before she could leave, Ember grabbed Shadow's arm with a gauntleted hand and stared at her with burning eyes. "Apologize," she said simply.

    Star narrowed her eyes. "This coming from the woman who killed hundreds of..." She caught herself. "No. I'm better than this. Shadow, I'm trying to be kind to you. It's as if you don't want that."

    Dapper was ignored.

    Star paled. "Shadow, why would say..." She sniffed. The statement had hit her in the heart. "Please apologize."

    "Plot. Not pain. I owe it to him though. I hurt so many people; it's about time I give back. No matter what I do, I will never be able to repay my debts."

    "I made a promise. I'm not about to break it. And of course he deserves compassion; he was controlled by all of us, forced to do things against his will. I'm so sorry he's hurt you though. I... It kills me."

    Hi, everyone! I proposed this idea a long time ago, but I only recently got around to executing it because I procrastinate like that. It's not done, but I want peoples' opinions on what I should add. I have Nightblood, Arnold, Kelsier, Thought, Bozo, Lift with Wyndle and a stack of pancakes, a handerfle, Pattern, and a breadmunk. (also, the "S" has been thermonuked) I think Uncle Brandy should occupy the third portrait, but I'm honestly not sure how to draw him. Anyway, what do you guys think?

    Bold it! Sprites lived a very long time; he had entered it when he came into Star's service. She was his rebellion. See, when he had joined her, she was still a bit villainous and feared by the underwater kingdom.
