    Looking around the ship helped distract Thought. It was so interesting, so intriguing. So different. Still, she couldn't shake the sick feeling in her stomach. Seeing her own face, glaring back at her... it was terrifying.

    Star had lost it. This time, the burns came upon her quickly. They swallowed her entire body like a wave of searing pain, ripping a screech from her throat. Star's scream echoed loudly in the corridor and she writhed in agony on the ground. "KILL ME!" she shrieked between sobs. "Just... Kill. Me..." A tremor ran through her body. The burns were even more painful than they had been before; this time, her clothing didn't allow her wounds to feel the open, cool air. She could hardly breathe, could hardly even see through her tears. "Pheo!" she cried as her already loose grip on sanity began to slip. She twisted, looking for him and in doing so, upset her burns. She yelped pitifully. "Don't... touch me," she sobbed. "Let me... rest. Let me... let me go. Let me be. Oh, let me... be..." She didn't know where she was anymore. All that was left was pain and emptiness and her cold, dark surroundings. Her heart pounded and her chest was rapidly expanding and contracting as she gasped for air. She already felt blisters popping open and she clawed at the floor, looking for something to hold. Or rather, something that would hold her. She squeezed her eyes shut and imagined it, hoping beyond hope that if she wished hard enough it would become a reality, but it was no use. She was alone here. And it seemed she always had been.

    I like to keep a little booklet with me to write down good lines from books or funny/inspiring things that I hear people say. I thought it'd be fun to start a thread for this kind of thing.     I am honestly not sure who's kissing her at this point. Edit: Also, when I first got the notification it took me a moment for it to settle in, so I read this as you kissing me.

    If only it were this simple on CBST... *sigh* Something sparked. Every blister and blemish, every burn and bruise on Star's skin evaporated in the passion of that kiss. Pheo himself was surprised, but he couldn't stop now. Star bean to glow. Brighter and brighter until the energy burst out in a shockwave that ran through the entire thread. Her eyes burst open, a pale shade of sparkling blue. She looked at Pheonix and smiled, crystal tears on her cheeks.

    Star crumped to her knees in a ball and wept. "I don't want to wake up," she mumbled. "Please don't make me wake up..."

    "NO!" Star screamed. She tried to grab the hatchet and ended up nicking her finger so just Narrted the weapon away. "Storm it, Shadow!" she yelled. "Let me do this myself, let me... let me... oh Author... Oh, Author, I'm done with THIS!" She screamed and shot Silence with a shaking hand.
