    Star turned toward Xino and Pheonix, blushing when her eyes fell upon Pheo. "Now," she said, "we get out of here. Do you think you can find the lenses we used to get here in the first place, Xino?" @xinoehp512

    SoT turned to Xino. "Before that mime came," she said, "why were you staring at me?" Blunt maybe, but she didn't interact with others all that often.

    "How do I know? Well... that's awfully complicated. But it doesn't really matter, I don't think."

    "You hafta look a little further than Ruin," Star said. "I think you know what I mean by that."

    Star pulled away and put her hand under Shadow's chin, looking her in the eyes. "You might not see it," she said, "but I do. And that has to be enough until you can find it." She smiled and pushed Shadow's hair out of her eyes. "It's there. Waiting for you."

    "Oh, Shadow," Star said gently. "I knew there was something in that heart of yours. It's going to be all right. You'll make it out."

    "I'm just sorry I only saw him once," SoT said sadly.

    Star sighed and got up off the ground. She walked up to Shadow and hugged her tightly.

    "It's okay, Shadow," Star said. Then, quieter, "It's finally okay."

    SoT looked down. "There's nothing we can do at all?"

    He was speaking in Silence though...

    SoT looked over the mime. "Is he really gone?" she asked reverently.

    SoT took a breath, glad things with her sister had calmed down. Her pain made SoT uneasy.

    SoT shuddered, coming out of her trance. The light in her eyes faded.

    Star felt heat rise in her cheeks as something snapped inside of her. She felt him. Pheonix. It was like her other half had been missing and had finally come back to her. Every blister and blemish, every burn and bruise on Star's skin evaporated in the passion of that kiss, never to afflict her again. She wept, but for once, she was weeping with joy. The newly-healed Narrator wrapped her arms around Pheonix’s waist and held to him tightly. If she had her way, no one would ever take him away from her again. This was her happy ending. No. Pheonix was her happy ending. She pulled away to look at him for a moment, taking in the details of his face and memorizing the way she felt. “I love you,” she whispered breathlessly. She had been looking for more words, trying to find them in his gently glowing eyes, but there was nothing else she could say to him. That was all he needed to know.

    Star met his eyes. She was dreaming. She had to be. She inhaled sharply as more tears came upon her. "Kiss me..." she muttered. "You have to... kiss... me..."
