  1. But this is Fall we're talking about and Fall is bright colors, apple cider, and school!
  2. Summer is too hot. And it can be really boring.
  3. Xino, talk to her, please. She's had a rough last couple of pages. With those words, TVG snapped, sending Xinoehp to SoT's private Narrational plane of stars, where she sat with her knees pulled up to her chest and her head in her arms.
  4. Upon seeing Xinoehp, SoT squealed, vanishing. TVG smiled. SoT would punish herself far better than she herself ever could. It was easy to embarrass someone when you were in their head 24/7. And even if she didn't exactly approve of Xinoehp, she recognized good ship material when she saw it. Despite the considerable age difference, the two complimented each other well.
  5. "I'm not kissing anybody," SoT muttered, folding her arms. But you want to. "Oh, shut up!"
  6. Just don't kiss him too hard, okay, SoT? If it was possible, SoT's blush deepened. She smiled, despite herself, as she imagined it, then forced her lips into a frown. "Stop it!" she yelled. TVG chuckled. "It's not funny! It's not!"
  7. "I told you, they hate me!" Sweetheart, they're just playing. "But I don't want to play! I want to be left alone!" Do you want Xinoehp to leave you alone? SoT blushed a deep shade of blue. "Mother," she growled though clenched teeth.
  8. SoT stuck her tongue out at Luna. SoT! You know better! "You should have let me train with Silence!" This isn't about me. "Well, how about we make it about you?!" TVG glared. Do not make me take away your voice. SoT smirked. "You wouldn't." Don't test me.
  9. TVG chuckled, Narrating away SoT's knife. Of course we do! "Mother!" SoT cried. "At least let me defend myself!" TVG raised an eyebrow. 'Mother.' That's a new one. "Quit mocking me, what am I supposed to do when-GAH!" Calm down, child, they're just words. "Sure... easy for you to say."
  10. SoT summoned a knife to her hand. If she couldn't use Silence, then she would use something else.
  11. Fall is my favorite season! By far the best weather.
  12. The hand phased through her purple body and she tisked, disappearing. That was me who said that.
  13. Wait, you picture SoT to be 50? She's like 16 on human terms!
  14. Nope! That just happens when I'm bored.
  15. TVG stared flatly at a blushing SoT. It's expected that young Narrators will abuse their power. SoT grumbled and TVG folded her arms. Do not use that tone with me, young lady. SoT sighed.
  16. Here! Something interesting! *fangirls about Astral's coming return* With a clank, Star's sword flew out of her hands and crashed to the ground. Her eyes widened in sudden panic. She knew she had lost. She knew it was over. And that left her cold with fear. Fear that Astral could feel radiating from her. It gave her strength. Star scrambled backward, tripping over her own sword and falling to the floor as Astral's black shadow overtook her terrified form. Astral grabbed Star by the hair on her head, her golden locks shining starkly against the grey of Astral's fingers. "I was wrong about you," she cooed in her silky voice. "You cannot return to your former glory. So I must destroy you." And with that, she shoved her blade through her counterpart's waist. "NOOOO!" Pheonix screamed, struggling against his bonds. Star had Narrated them into existence when she was worried about him getting hurt by interfering with their duel. Heather, still chained to a pole, began to weep, looking away from Star as blood began to pool around her. There was a strange quietness, however, as Astral pulled the blood-wetted sword from Star's body and kicked her away with a heeled foot. "Well?" Astral asked, scanning the deck. "Who's next?" Pheonix's restrictions melted away - Star's Narration beginning to fade - and he rushed to her side. "Star!" he cried, falling to his knees before her. The blonde woman trembled in small spasms, mouth working as she tried desperately to form words. But before she could voice her goodbye, her regrets, her love for him, she fell still and silent, a line of blood running down the side of her mouth, her blue eyes glazing over. Pheonix wept on her corpse, his back shaking with the sobs of a man who had lost all he had to live for. Astral smiled. All the sorrow and hopelessness surged within her, feeding her soul. She'd kill the boy later. By even hoping to replace Marsh, he had done something absolutely atrocious. Honestly, he was what convinced her that Star was beyond rescuing. Astral had learned something recently; people only served to drag you down. And by learning that, she had risen to the very top. Her circlet faded away, replaced by Star's black iron crown. "I am the Queen of Shadows," she said firmly, "and anyone who would like to challenge that will meet the same fate as your hero over there. You know; the dead one." Oh, how lovely it was to be Queen.
  17. House points will be awarded to whoever can guess who this is. Hint: she is one of my characters.

I found power. It seeks to corrupt, I can’t escape. Corruption it seeks, power has found me. Corruption, I found, has power. See its corruption? Escape? Can’t. I’m corrupt to seek it’s power. Find me.

Eh...it’s not the worst Ketek I’ve seen. Thanks for the idea Luna!

  18. Alright, let's compare the two ships. With Kelsnah, we have two characters with very large personalities and radical ideas. Now, we've seen Kell interact with people like this before. I am, of course, talking about his interaction with Hoid in the Well which... doesn't go very well. Kelsier is used to being in charge. But so is Jasnah. I do think that if the situation was right, they could potentially be a flippin' sweet power couple. Or, if the situation was wrong... they would rip each other to shreds. I still think Kelsier would find Jasnah incredibly attractive, though that's just my headcannon. Phar on the other hand... Star is how she is because of that one little moment where Pheo gets her to believe in herself. She's a hero, she upholds the morals and dare I say "ideals" of a Windrunner; selfless and always willing to put others before themselves. In a lot of ways, Star was Pheonix's light before she was anyone else's though. For reasons I honestly don't really understand yet, Pheo continued on as a character because of her rather than just a being that rode Narration Energy like most Narrators. Star appreciates his support, but after she finds that he's crushing on her... she's honestly pretty rude to him. And then he's kidnapped and she realizes that she didn't know what she had. And he ends up giving her True Love's Kiss and I'd say that's pretty legit. So... Phar. Phar is better because they make each other better.
  19. *swallows* Well... Do you want the long answer or the short one?
