  1. Welcome to TLT: Infinity War, everyone.
  2. But there was a neutral party as well. Withy stood between the armies, waiting for carnage to insue.
  3. Aragorn, Strider himself, was very impressed.
  4. He clutched his midsection and let out a cry. “There is no escape, godfather,” Max whispered. “The dream must never end.” Jaywalk drew the Void back to him, forcing the power against the nightmare. It was just barely enough to allow him to stand again. “We need to get out,” he said through gritted teeth.
  5. Jaywalk followed after them, ignoring the whispers from the nightmares. His steps began to slow, however. Some force pulled him back, and as he fought against it, he fell to his knees, groaning.
  6. Such an amazing game. My favorite of all time. I can’t wait for the remaster!
  7. Such a simple escape, almost too good to be true. He gave a tight smile. "Let's go, then." He heard a noise from behind. "Godfather," Max said. "Don't leave me." Jaywalk willed himself not to look back, only kept his attention on Star. "As soon as we can, that'd be great."
  8. "My apology still stands. I was reckless and spiteful, and you never deserved that." He folded his arms. "Now, how do we get out of here?"
  9. Bozo started crying. "Won't you ever leave us alone?" Havel just stared curiously at it, teeth bared.
  10. A Void-touched amethyst tear rolled down his cheek. "I'm sorry," he said to Star. "For everything I ever did to you." Then he turned to Pheonix and sighed. "It's been a while. I lost track of time about when I lost track of reality."
  11. He let out a somber laugh, wincing at the pain in his chest. "Many things, Star. Many things."
  12. Jaywalk was caught off guard by the embrace. "Is it...is it really you?" he asked, slowly coming to embrace her back.
  13. Bozo waved goodbye sadly. He missed Jaywalk.
  14. He stopped, willing the Void away from his fists. His veins faded to a dim glow, but enough light remained to illuminate the faces of the figures. "Star?"
  15. Negative people found him very attractive.
  16. Mr. Positivity was his name, according to Hades.
  17. A crash. Jaywalk raised his head, vision blurry. A light. Two figures walked through the door-shaped hole. Voices. Was that...no, couldn't be. He slowly got to his feet and braced himself for the nightmare to begin. Ethereal waves emanated from the doorway--it reminded him of the Void. He couldn't imagine what this world had in store for him next. Another tease of happiness, only to plunge into despair? He wasn't sure his soul could take much more. But as he raised his fists and the figures stepped ever closer, his vision returned. No, no more. Please! he begged with the nightmare. Not her, anyone but her! How dare it hurt him like this? "Stay back!" he cried. His veins pulsed, the purple light of the Void flashing in his eyes. He looked down in surprise at his hands. The Void...it was with him again. Euphoria rose within him, then faded to determination. He would not let it take him. His powers had returned. And he attacked.
  18. It actually wasn’t, because ridiculousness was commonplace in TLT. It was a paradox.
  19. A figure of shadow appeared in front of Astral. It stood barely to her knees, and its top hat was adorned with half-burnt rose petals.
