Long Game 72: The Secret of Shinovar
Ookla-son-son-Ventyl replied to Ashbringer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I won’t be on at all during the next turn, because my band has to take a five hour drive to the State Marching competition. I’ll be here for D5, assuming I don’t die between now and then.- 1329 replies

Long Game 72: The Secret of Shinovar
Ookla-son-son-Ventyl replied to Ashbringer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Fura I’m continuing voting on you. Partially for gut reason along with my reason stated Day 2, and now with @Ookla the Mistiosa (Welcome to Shinovar by the way!) pointing out what seems like a Freudian Slip, my suspicions have only risen. If I can find the time in the next tomorrow I’ll give some analysis of Fura’s post and point out the ones that’ve rubbed me wrong. The analysis probably won’t be fully up to Ventyl standards becauses I have finals and the State Marching contest next week.- 1329 replies

So, is any going to say something about this? Before Illwei’s death he claimed to be that Ishar’s Blade had been claimed, yet I don’t recall seeing this message. So, whoever told Illwei this was lying.- 1329 replies

I’m not sure if like this switch on to Quinn. I think basing your argument off of something that was a mistake is not great.- 1329 replies

Long Game 72: The Secret of Shinovar
Ookla-son-son-Ventyl replied to Ashbringer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I’m honestly lost on to what is happening right now, I’ve been extremely busy this whole week with band. Next week I won’t be on Tuesday as my band is going to the State Marching contest. —————————————————————————————————————————— Anyways, I’d be open to lynching Fura today. I’ve stated my suspicions on them in a previous cycle. However, as Araris is open to lynching me, I’d be open to lynching them. They’ve continued to call me elim with little to no evidence, because iirc haven’t we determined it was most likely Ishar? EDIT: I mean most likely Ishar who adhesioned me. Also @Ookla Fell From The Sky, can we get a vote count?- 1329 replies

Long Game 72: The Secret of Shinovar
Ookla-son-son-Ventyl replied to Ashbringer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Well, this is interesting. I wasn’t on at rollover, due to band and homework, but I’ve read through the thread and I now have a lot more suspicion on Fura and Condensation for their extremely last minute switch on me.- 1329 replies

Long Game 72: The Secret of Shinovar
Ookla-son-son-Ventyl replied to Ashbringer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Recent events have given me a few reads: Fura: Mainly for a continued push of Condensation, partly a gut read. Pushing Connie’s lynch seems a lot like the Elims pushing for a mislynch. Quinn: Slight Village, is defending Connie. Also hasn’t done anything that’s caught my eye as suspicious, though I could be missing something as Day One is still extremely confusing to me. Condensation: Village, looks they’ve either been the target of a mislynch, that was then foiled by the Truthless. Considering the Truthless win-con is to die, which endangers the Stone Shaman, I’d considered them ‘on’ the elim team and indifferent to a village mislynch.- 1329 replies

Long Game 72: The Secret of Shinovar
Ookla-son-son-Ventyl replied to Ashbringer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
As I still really don’t have much of idea what’s even happening in this game, and I doubt I ever will due to the extremely long D1, all my suspicions are gut-reads only. And at this point I don’t have enough information to really make an actual good post describing why I read certain people as more elim. Hopefully I can try to tear apart day one soon. Yet again, I’m sorry that I probably won’t be as helpful in this game until the later cycles.- 1329 replies

Long Game 72: The Secret of Shinovar
Ookla-son-son-Ventyl replied to Ashbringer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Hello. I’ve finally (not really) caught up with the thread after not being active for the first cycle due to band performances. I would very much like it if someone would PM giving me a summary of what happened. All I know is that Danex was Truthless and now the Stone Shamans can be killed, I think. Anyways, I need to go re-read the rules real quick, and I probably won’t have any reliable reads until D3, sorry!- 1329 replies

Mid-Range Game 46: A Broken Imperium
Ookla-son-son-Ventyl replied to Mat's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I’m aware that it’s suspicious, and no I wasn’t thinking about that... Either you’re being pocketed, or you and Gears are both elims trying to make some gambit. EDIT: Of course, I could be wrong and Gears is the Lord Ruler. In that case, I’d be less suspicious of both of you.- 1278 replies

Mid-Range Game 46: A Broken Imperium
Ookla-son-son-Ventyl replied to Mat's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I think we lynch Gears, it’s probably the best lynch we have right now. Because, if he is telling the truth, then it’s fine, he’ll survive our lynch. And if he’s lying then we kill an elim, then we lynch Quinn next.- 1278 replies

Mid-Range Game 46: A Broken Imperium
Ookla-son-son-Ventyl replied to Mat's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I suggested this last cycle, for the same reason... but Whysper makes good points. I would much prefer to lynch Gears directly to remove the risk of mislynching a villager or a village-aligned TLR. I’m not particularly good with PM’s, but I don’t want to lose them either. However, considering Quinn’s insistence on lynching Reading, it’s giving me a stronger villager read on them. I simply don’t think an elim would want to put themselves out there, like they are doing now. I’m still hesitant to remove my vote from Danex, though. I don’t like the idea of letting the person who started this whole PM fiasco, which has done more bad than good in my opinion, live through this cycle. I don’t like how much they’ve stayed under the radar, even with three votes on them, there is little discussion about how suspicious their actions have been. If we lynch Danex here, I’ll be all for lynching Reading or Gears next cycle. If I don’t die that is...- 1278 replies

Mid-Range Game 46: A Broken Imperium
Ookla-son-son-Ventyl replied to Mat's topic in Sanderson Elimination
iirc, I stated my suspicions of you last cycle. Before Sart posted anything about you. I also have disagreed with the chainmail idea. I believe that you’ve actually avoided a suspicion, as I recall, barely anyone considered the possibility of elim!Danex. You’re chainmail distracted them from who actually started it, as they became focused on who was coming up in the PM’s.- 1278 replies

And I don’t think either of you were actively trying to pocket each other. Also, here is a vote count: Gears (2): Somebody from Sel, Tj Shade Fadran (2): Quinn, Shard of Reading Danex (2): Sart, Ventyl- 1278 replies

Mid-Range Game 46: A Broken Imperium
Ookla-son-son-Ventyl replied to Mat's topic in Sanderson Elimination
This game has gone insane. I definitely don’t agree with this Fadran lynch. Considering how Turtle flipped, shouldn’t we assume that Fadran is more likely to be a villager? They worked together, which could’ve been an elim trying to pocket Turtle, but that could easily backfire. I definitely think @Sart had a good point regarding Danex, whom I still find extremely suspicious for starting this whole train, which has done nothing but cause too much confusion to be good and get a villager killed.- 1278 replies

Mid-Range Game 46: A Broken Imperium
Ookla-son-son-Ventyl replied to Mat's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Okay, so instead of Reading, we lynch Danex. They did start this whole mess after all, and what better way for elims to frame a mislynch than this? It might have also been a good way to draw attention away from Reading, as the idea was crazy enough to distract people from their survival.- 1278 replies

Mid-Range Game 46: A Broken Imperium
Ookla-son-son-Ventyl replied to Mat's topic in Sanderson Elimination
How. Did. This. Happen? I don’t know if this will help, but I received a PM from @eltruT at around 9 PM CST today saying that Gears was roleblocked. I also got one from Quinn saying the same at around 6:30 PM CST on Sunday. @Amanuensis, what do you think of all of this? You’ve been quiet, are you going to leave your vote on me? Also, I think we should consider this: What if there is a Reading/Danex elim team? Reading gets WGGed, and then Danex suggests this PM plan, which if started by an elim could easily lead to a mislynch, as I think is happening right now. I say we vote out Reading here, because I never did like how we skipped over the idea of them being an elim, with only their word to back it up. If @Shard of Reading flips elim, we can lynch @Danex next. If they flip village, we lynch Gears or Turtle.- 1278 replies
