  1. The person behind the computer started laughing as he made the hole in the ceiling bigger. Then he dropped a shoe on Luna's head before he could duck away.
  2. John walked outside and everything was calm. Very sunny, in fact. And no shoes anywhere. He walked back inside, ignoring the train that flew through the sky, turning end on end. That happened everyday, right? "I didn't see anything, Luna." The moment the door closed, another wave of shoes came through, but John wasn't paying attention.
  3. "Thank you Lopen"! John was so blinded of being in the presence of The Lopen he didn't notice it was chouta. He turned to Luna. "Shoe storms? No, why?" Meanwhile, an ambulance flew past the window, siren blaring, followed by a reindeer with a red nose.
  4. John gladly gave The Lopen his other shoe. ------------ The person behind the computer grinned. This was fun! ----------- "Something wrong, Luna?"
  5. "Thank you Lopen!" John smiled happily at his now signed shoe. He wondered how Luna was doing. ----------- The person currently sitting at his computer sat back shocked that Luna was able to defeat everything so easily. He hit the rewind, and redid the Simulation, making sure it hit Roshar again. With 6327 more shoes. 6327 shoes that say 'I'm not a shoe' 6327x3 turtle doves 6327 pounds of garbage And way too many partridges no longer in trees.
  6. John got out his special shoe and got out a pen so that Lopen could sign it. ------------ Many Miles away, on Earth, two people are cloud watching. "That's a giraffe!" "That's an elephant!" "That one looks like a mushroom!" A blast wave from a Type 64 Gathen Nuke destroys the planet, leveling this version of Earth. Meanwhile, the blast wave travels through space and time until it reaches Roshar. A chasmfiend crawls out of the Shattered Plains onto a plateau, preparing to make a chrysalis. It looks up in shock as a blast wave travels across the plains, days early for a highstorm. It gets blown away, along with: A shoe. Another shoe. Yet another shoe. A shoe that says, 'I'm not a shoe' 3 turtle doves 2 pounds of garbage And a partridge no longer in a tree.
  7. *Explosion happens outside restaurant and chasmfiend goes flying* *Re awakens the thread* "I would like a cheeseburger, no sauces, with only lettace and tomatoes please." John glanced outside. "I hope no one gets hurt."
  8. "Like coming back from the dead?" Alyssa responded, turning to... was it another Rydin? Wait, no, it was Ryan. She frowned as Jessey suggested they get away from her and John. As if they couldn't hear them just because Jessey whispered. Alyssa, did you hear that? Yes. Should we... No. Let them leave. And maybe this is the way they can fix your mistake. Don't let them leave. Who was that? You know me. Don't let them leave. (In Unison) Yes Corielatha.
  9. John cleared his throat. "I said a while back that there was a friend waiting that could help us. She is it." Alyssa turned to... Jessey, the HUD said. From a Level 10 Civilization, or a civilization capable of FTL. "I am Alyssa, previous leader of the Gathen." She gave a wary look at John that spoke of history between them. She then tried to distract everyone to the problem at hand. "We could try to capture the Tierath, though I believe it would be suicide for you folks to try. Not that I have anything against you, it's just that evolution brought our species through different paths. If we do decide to try to capture them, then let me and John do it. We are... let's say extremely hard to kill." The corners of her mouth twitched, and the fading of her hair between blue and green accelerated, blue one moment, then green, then blue again.
  10. Alyssa calmed down and chose to ignore Rydin. She turned to the other guy, and her HUD scanned him, bringing him up as an Earthbender, similar to the Gathen Earthseers. He offered her a drink of water, and she decided she liked him. Though he was a bit young. She would have to talk with John later. "No thanks, but thank you for offering," she said in response to Cheh's offer, remembering her class in Human courtesy.
  11. Alyssa frowned. She automatically didn't like... who was he? Her HUD began scanning his face at her request, and searched all databases. Rydin, Stand User. "Perhaps you should pay more attention to the real world then your stories," she replied coldly. "Then maybe you could of faced this surprise at an earlier date." John winced, and Alyssa shot him a look that plainly said, without any telepathy required, This is who you think is a major player in the universe? "Please, everyone, can't we be friends for a few minutes before going at each other's throats?" John pleaded. He then turned to Alyssa. "I thought we were going to meet at the lake." "I thought you were going to safely land next to the lake, not in the middle of the forest." "I'm sorry I didn't give our pilot a tutorial on how to use Gathen technology, and I think she did pretty well for her first time." You should of been piloting. He didn't respond, which was telling even of itself. "So," Alyssa said, to distract the others, "What was your plan? Besides getting to the lake."
  12. A fox stood in a middle of a clearing, darkened by the shadows of the trees. It looked up sharply as it heard something that didn't belong. An enormous wave of water came through the trees, stopping at the edge of the clearing and shrinking into the shape of a person. It began walking forward, ignoring the fox, as it slowly shifted tones until it looked like a human. Long flowing blue hair extended out of her scalp, before becoming near transparent, except for the shoulders up, where it slowly began to change between blue and green, a never ending cycle. She made her way through the clearing and through a thicket at one end, stepping into a lake. There she waited. She looked up sharply as a Gathen escape pod crashed to the east, and listened to the Tierath whistles as the scouts relayed the information back to their center of operations. She began making her way to where she saw the escape pod land, and before long heard rustling in the brush ahead. Arrows of light formed around her, pointing to the newcomers. She did not fire. She heard talking, and a voice that immediately caused her to dismiss the arrows. She waited for a bit, and walked onto a trail with a well, and a couple people surrounding it and a floating globe of water, of which one person was using... what was that? A leaf maybe? Whatever it was, the person was using it to drink. One person turned, and recognized her. "Alyssa." "John." Thanks for earlier. Earlier? On the pod. You needed it. I know. You get into states like that far to easily now. I always did, you just didn't know me. Is that so? "She's a friend," John said aloud. None of the others knew anything had happened, since communication of the mind is instantaneous. "I'm Alyssa," she said, holding out her hand to the group. "I am also a Gathen." She eyed the globe of water in distaste, and waved her hand. The entire contents of the well shot up the shaft and out into the open, and stayed there, where Alyssa proceeded to divest it of impurities, and started forming it into different shapes, sculpting it as a Human would sculpt clay.
  13. My newest Profile picture is a Type 26BZ Banshee, used by 'Refumee's separatist faction, known to most Halo players as the Heretics of Halo 2. The most commonly seen Banshee they used was the Type 26AZ, which is what is seen in the campaign and the classic multiplayer. The 26BZ is only seen in the Halo 2 Anniversary multiplayer, and is identical to the Banshee already in use in the game, with the only difference being the color of the outside, weapons emission, and energy trail.

That was actually what I was thinking of changing my picture to, since it's Yellow for Honey Month, but then I remembered great memories of H2A Forge...

  14. John concentrated, and the water started bubbling and releasing steam as the water heated. He didn't need to make the flames visible, he could put them in the infrared spectrum and make it seem more... mystical to the humans. He wondered why he needed to do that. So that they would trust him? But how could they? He had stolen them from their homes and he thought using magic in a way they had never seen was a good idea? He began to let flames flicker at the bottom of the globe of water, orange, green, red, blue, yellow, and variations in between. He let himself get captivated by the myriad of colors, before bringing himself back to reality, away from the songs that sang softly in his mind. The flames disappeared, and the bubbling started to slow. "There we go. I highly doubt there is any more mini lifeforms in there." The problem had surprised him, as Gathen couldn't get sick the way humans do. One more reason to listen to them.
  15. "No thanks. Could I have cheddar on that... please..." John realized his burger was forgotten in the face of a larger threat.
  16. John breathed again, and was about to ask for another refill when a beep sounded in the room. A screen appeared in front of him, and said softly; "WARNING: RED 40 LEVALS RISING" "I think I have had enough," John said, waving and making the screen disappear. "It's almost lunch time. Could I have a hamburger?" John slowly said that last word, trying to say it correctly. He hoped that he wouldn't be kicked out for eating to much. As long as he payed, he figured he would probably stay.
  17. John breathed, and stared sadly at the empty glass. He hoped Luna had more. At least John had plenty of money. "Refill please? And could you put more drink mix in this time?"
  18. John's eyes snapped open, and he took a deep breath as he regained his Power and sat up. He saw the battle and gasped. What's happening?! What in Entropy is that... thing?
  19. John looks at Luna strangely, then activates subtitles and rewinds the page. He smiles when he sees his mistake. "Yes that would work."
  20. John's flaming face widened. He then turned to Luna. "Do you have a beverage called "Cool aid" by any chance?" Spheres clanked as they were set on the counter. "I would pay extra. Though if you don't have it, some orange wine would be fine please."
