Huh. I take it the ghostbloods do fake splits a lot.

Aeodin looked surprised as Laonin wanted to take care of the enemies dead. "They aren't human," Aeodin muttered, but he stooped to help anyway. Aeodin walked up to Laonin and began speaking, "When I was young, before the shaod took me, a group of these monks raided my hometown. They teleported into the center of the town, and began hunting down our citizens. A group of Elantrians teleported in right after them. The battle that ensued left the town a smoking crater. Eventually the monks fled, using a large number of humans to teleport away. A large monk broke my mother's neck." He fell silent as he moved a piece of bone. After a short time, he resumed speaking, "It's good that you respect your enemy, and it's good that you want to move their bones, but don't call them humans, and don't respect these particular enemies." @Karnatheon

Keleth sighed with contentment as he sauntered through the front doors of the Alleynaeum. The largest and most beautiful library and center of information in all the Brandonverse. It put the Palanaeum on Roshar to shame. Up until now he had been a middling bureaucrat in the lower ranks of the Diagramists. He had been known for his organization skill, a talent that outstripped even the highest ranking member of the bureaucracy. The Most Brilliant had called him a diamond in the rough, and immediately placed him at the head of the largest library in the alleyverse. The Alleynaeum had only just finished being under construction this week, and had been filled with information up until today. But today, the staff moved in. He took a fabrial lift up to the highest level, and looked out upon Alleycity through his panoramic windows. He could get used to this. "Mister Keleth sir," a scribe called, "Here's the list of today's requests, would you like me to send them down to the exchange section?" "No, bring them here, I would like you to send them down there, but for now, let me handle the workings of my own business. I would like you to take this down to the admittance section though, thank you," he responded, handing the scribe a message. He looked over today's requests. A shipping company asking for a ledger containing the number of Rosharan rockbuds currently in the market, a man from Nalthis asking after the newest romance novel from Hallandren, the Ghostbloods asking for unrestricted access–– Wait, the Ghostbloods? What were the Ghostbloods... ahh, that's right. He went on down the list, and called for a scribe to take it down to the exchange section. He then looked over the organization ledgers, looking for any errors. He spotted a spot on the ledgers where it showed a few books of the Dawnchant placed with transcribed keepers' histories. He called a secretary to deliver the message to the common workers about the error. He got so caught up in the inner workings of a large business, that he completely missed the passing of time. A secretary finally broke him out of his reverie. "Sir, isn't it about opening time? The crowds are gathering out front." She asked. "Kelek's breath! You're right Martha, I completely lost track of time. I wonder what came over me. Tell the Admittance section to throw those doors open! Let them in! For a price, of course, and restrict access to the more sensitive places." He ordered. They opened the doors, and a large welcome sign hung over the grand twelve meter entrance. He stood at his window, looking out over the city, and took it all in. Yes, today was a good day to be Keleth Hathara

probably the best guild in the alleyverse The Diagramist

Oh really? Well I've always had trouble telling my capital I's apart from my lower case l's. They're actually identical in some fonts, though I guess I should have seen it. Today is, sadly, a day of mid to low average intelligence, so I'm a little slower.- 119 replies

Oh I think I remember someone telling me about that. Didn't Kidpen unveil it in a thread that revealed the GB PM?

Aeodin nodded when Veil thanked him, and was surprised when the man fell on the ground and began writhing. He walked over to try and help, but Ishek beat him to it as he scooped up Veil and hurried down the street. He turned back to Laonin and was surprised to find that he was sitting up and seemed lucid. He shook his head. Over three hundred years, and he still had not gotten used to the extreme power of Aons. He had used that power to kill today. The thought sobered him, and he regarded the dead bodies around him with distaste. Aons had power to help, heal, accomplish labor-intensive tasks in seconds, but they were used most often to kill. It was the same with shardblades, and well, pretty much any other form of investiture. Why must we kill so often, he thought, why can't we all see that that helps no one?

Odium. In that vision, there's an endless expanse with Odium there, and his power erupts into Dalinar's vision.

That actually makes sense. But in the well of ascension, it's powers to destroy, not protect.

I know this one, Sja-anet right? Taker of secrets?

probably the best guild in the alleyverse The Diagramist

Alright @MetaTerminal, we can now officially have a government seat. Since we only have two representatives in the government, I would like our government seat to be you. I, of course, am to busy running the day-to-day workings of the guild, And your position within the guild is perfectly suited to political intrigue. I have every confidence in you.- 119 replies

Actually, you know what the best guild on there is? The Diagramists. You don't have to join immediately, and you can take a little tour of everything we do. Since we have very few members, we would get you started in the alleyverse RP right away. Alright, that's enough advertising I suppose, and I didn't know Meta changed over to us. I guess we can have a government seat now.

Aeodin sat down on a piece of rubble exhausted. The Aons on his fingers hadn't worked well, but his sword had performed admirably. He let his sword drop, and it puffed away into nothingness. Most of the rings on his fingers were scorched. He got up again as both Veil and Ishek called for Aons. He stood over Laonin and drew Aon Ien over him. He added a lot of modifiers to pinpoint where to heal, and the Aon flashed, restoring Laonin. He then walked over to Veil and began drawing.

Aeodin felt the heat of an electric bolt passing just over his head. Storms, he though, that monk almost had me. He realized it was time to stop playing around with the sword. He let his guard down momentarily, and he was quickly covered with monks. They covered him, and began slicing him to ribbons. He reached a bloody hand up to the Aon hanging around his neck and activated it. Instantly, the air around him wavered, and a pulse of brilliant energy burst from the cognitive realm. It twisted outward in all directions, warping the air and frying the monks to a crisp. He stood up, his wounds healing, and noted eight dead monks, with five or six badly wounded. He'd forgotten how much damage a good Aon Daa could do. He took several rings from his pockets and fastened them to his fingers. With the rings, each carved with a miniature Aon Daa, he could throw blasts of energy at will. He began hunting down straggling bonefists.

Aeodin slammed into the group of dahkor monks. A battle was about momentum. The Aon had included two Aons in that crystal, one for battle knowledge, one for battle ability. He swung the resplendent blade about with the precision of one who had trained his entire life. Almost instantly, three monks surrounded him. He began spinning to not have his backed turned on any of them. He swung his blade with the power and accuracy of a blade master, and took off one of the monks' arms off at the shoulder. He kicked another in the chest with an Aon inhanced foot, and it flew across the street. It recovered almost immediately, and scrambled over to resume the fight. These things are tough, Aeodin thought, but then, I'm not exactly a delicate flower. He gritted his teeth as more monks came to fight him, and fought on. He stabbed one through the chest, but it took a while to die. He turned and cut another through at the waist. He was quickly becoming overwhelmed...

Man. This thing really took off. I havn't been around here for a while, and it's good to be back. Like the house you were raised in, but tilting dangerously in the wind. Or a favorite pet, now insane with rabies.

Aeodin stared down the gang that arrived. Their leader seemed particularly cocky. Foolish, Aeodin thought, never underestimate your enemy. There really wasn't anything huge going on, so Aeodin drew. His finger sliced through the air, trailing glowing lines of pure power. It was as if his finger was a blade, and a massive river of pent-up energy was straining to get through the wound. The Aon he drew was more complicated than any he had ever seen. He got caught up in the beauty of it, the flowing lines of power that surrounded him. He closed his eyes and entered a sort of trance. It was like a cata, or an incredibly intricate dance. When at last he was done, the glowing lines flashed with brilliant power, and a glowing blade appeared. He had started with Aon Edo, and drawn so many modifiers that the original Aon was almost obscured. The result was a broadsword made completely of energy. He'd heard that it was possible, but never attempted something so detailed. The blade was so invested, it would probably slice through Dahkor bones like butter. Aeodin opened his eyes, and noticed with a start that Laonin was hovering a few inches of the ground, crackling with electricity. Of course, he thought, an essence mark. He had heard of such things when he had traveled to the Rose Empire. He seized that brilliant blade before him, and raising it over his head, charged towards the monks.

Hello and welcome to the shard!
-
"I swear it," Aeodin said solemnly. Aeodin then lifted a crystal into the air, and then placed it next to his skin. It flashed with the brilliant light of the Dor, and Aeodin began to transform. His muscles swelled underneath the robe, and his stance shifted becoming more experienced. Confident. Dangerous.

Galvris walked in, and his jaw fell to the floor at the mess inside. "What did you do!?" He demanded. He turned to the woman who seemed in charge and said, "Are you still running a shipping business here? Because if so, I need a quick shipping of weapons, preferably Aon inhanced. Diagramist discount." @Ark1002

"When you play your character," Aeodin explained, "Talk normally like this." Aeodin followed Laonin and looked on interested as he forged the building. "I once traveled to the rose empire," he said, "but I never realized forging could do this much."

If you're designated as a great guild, are you allowed to have an NPC army?
-
Ok then. I guess I only have one member, since ark probably counts for the ghostbloods, and ookla the cited will probably count for some other guild.
-
Great, hey @Ookla the Paragon, Can you include the Diagramists? It has three members so far.
