Way of Kings: Kaladin one-man destroying the Parshendi to save Dalinar, also his squad murdered by Amaram and Helaran Words of Radiance: Kaladin swearing the Third Ideal, fighting Szeth, crashing down onto the ground in a puff of Stormlight before fighting Szeth, Dalinar floating down, Nightblood at the end, Jasnah Elsecalling to Hoid Oathbringer: Dalinar capturing the Thrill, the "I am Unity" moment, screaming "YOU CANNOT HAVE MY PAIN" and swearing his Ideal(s?), Hoid getting the Cryptic, Elhokar's death, Kaladin showing Hearthstone he's a Shardbearer Mistborn (all): Kelsier's death, Sazed rescuing Vin, Vin killing TLR, Kelsier Ascending, Sazed Ascending, Preservation (Fuzz) dying, Spook and everything with him and Ruin and Kelsier Elantris: Raoden restoring Elantris, Galladon and all the other Elantrians appearing to save Teod, Hrathen saving Sarene, Adien joining the Hoed Warbreaker: The King basically exploding with power, Vasher being Warbreaker These all give me chills every time I read it (and I've read Stormlight at least three times), How is Brandon so GOOD at this?

Yeah I think they could shape the air and water around them, letting them 'scuba dive' using Surges.

I think of it similar to Mistborn. Stormlight is like the metals, kind of filtering the power to the person who is burning it. What the Heralds had with Honor's power fueling them is like someone consuming the mists, the god's straight power, much more powerful, fueling them.

One of my friends read tWoK and loved it, but couldn't finish Mistborn. It made me sad cause I love Mistborn.

Endless boredom/no Sharding/awful torture/awful Sharders/no boredom's endless. Does this need an explanation? My opinion versus School staff's opinion on Sharding during class. True...now, considering the context, Dalinar apologizes for summoning the Stormfather, who basically says bonding Dalinar was his only good option (if you get my meaning-I just mean that he had to bond a Bondsmith).

I supect the Stormfather would have been killed if he was bonded during the Recreance; after Dalinar summons the Stormfather as a Shardblade, he says to Dalinar "It is either this or oblivion."

Why does someone else need to harm him?

I believe Tension is the Surge which can make substances solid. Theoretically, a Willshaper could probably greatly condense the air to make it solid(?) but I think it would be much easier to do with Tension.

If I could draw Stormlight from things like the Sun or modern light sources, then either Stoneward (imagine using Tension and Cohesion to solidify some air and shape it-you could literally pull objects out of the air!) or Windrunner (you could fly around and stick people to walls). If not, then probably Mistborn.

Like how that soulcaster going to Aimia is all smoky?

Granted, but you cannot save humankind from the Voidbringers that are coming tomorrow. I wish to be a Stoneward of at least the Second Ideal

Granted, but now whenever you try to get onto the Shard your device gains fifty viruses, each of which will somehow block your access to the Shard. Each virus takes one hour to remove. I wish for a spren of each Order, each of which I have a Nahel Bond with and have sworn each Ideal up to and including the Fifth Ideal
