  1. @The Storm, I think it would be super interesting to utilize the player list more - for example, have bronze, brass, and/or zinc have a range such that only players within a certain distance in the player list can/do get affected by the metal. However, you have stated that you aren't fond of the player list idea. Perhaps for another game, eventually? As for other ideas for Lurchers, an option I see is to have them be able to find out who the elims attack like a coinshot does, and be able to redirect said attack to themselves with a 50% chance of surviving. They could also target up to a certain small number of people during the night, and if any of them are targeted with a kill, they become severely injured instead and survive until the end of the next day.
  2. @Cadmium Compounder, this is very interesting. Have you just been told about this role today? I'll lynch you as you want, but I'm sad to lose someone who's defended me and who would have been a great team player, had I converted you. Cadcom. I'll miss you.
  3. Apparently it's secretly alive or something. You never specified that the body was dead.
  4. I'm not saying that Rath targeted myself or Rae with anything, and it could have been random, but the point was that I targeted Rae, someone killed Rae, there may or may not have been an additional redirect involved, and I ended up targeting Rath.
  5. Hmmmmmmmm. Since Ada's insinuating that there are more bots than some people are saying, that makes him look more trustworthy. An elim would probably imply that there's less of them left - although that situation is highly IKYK.
  6. Achieving my wincon does not end the game upon completion. As for how exactly conversion helps my wincon, I'd rather not reveal that for now. I have an unlimited number of convert actions, though. In my PM's where I've explained my role beforehand, and in the thread so far, I've claimed village and it's true to an extent since I win with the village assuming my special wincon is met. However, my role is neutral at heart. A spambot killing me won't help them outnumber the villagers, and lynching me won't help the village either. Killing me will be pointless to both sides.
  7. I think I'll do a roleclaim as people are currently doing. I'll leave the flavor of the role as a surprise, for now. My wincon is distinct from that of the rest of the villagers or the spambots. I win with the village, but only if my other win condition is met. My only ability is to convert people to join my wincon. This means that their alignment and other roles don't change, but they also need to have my wincon met to win the game.
  8. Logmul of Sdrawkcab blinked and coughed. Her vision swam and everything seemed shaky; was that just her imagination or- Oh. She was being carried. The thought came dimly as Logmul gritted her teeth against a fresh wave of pain. She wondered if there was a medic nearby, or whether she would die in a heap at... wherever she was going. She was too tired to think. It was much easier to let unconsciousness envelop her again.
  9. First of all, it's been established earlier in the game that I was willing to investigate Elephant's identity so this isn't a new move for me. Secondly, I wasn't even thinking about the fact that Elephant was proven village when I randomly wondered if Road's inactivity was connected to the presence of Elephant. I was merely trying to connect ideas together. My vote on Rae was extremely early in the game when she had done almost exclusively trolling and a vote on Elandera for no reason. I took my vote off of her quickly when I realized that there were much better options and I currently tentatively trust Rae. Oh, by the way, here are my general reads on some people: Village lean: Rae, Elandera, Itiah Not sure/want to investigate more: Fura, Steel, Wilson, Alv Spammer lean: Devotary, Rand, Adavantos, Seventh I haven't been focusing as much as I like on getting better and more complex reads on more people, sorry :/ but these are my tentative thoughts
  10. Why? Why would it make more sense to strip him of his life if all of the roles that may give him an extra life are village? Strategically, it would make sense to either keep Seventh alive (if you trust him) or, if he's suspicious, lynch him because he's likely to be pulling off a desperate gambit and lying. Unless he's somehow immune to the lynch in such a way that doesn't involve extra lives and clever manipulation of spambot roles? I'd like to see said guarantee. Until then, I'm voting on Arand again. Ada, until you explain your reasoning as to why you trust Rand, it just seems like another attempt to defend a fellow spambot with little base in evidence.
  11. Guys, I have a theory as to what might have happened. It's probably less likely than what's already been discussed (a redirect or a vigilante), but: Given Temptation's ability, what 2 people decided to kill Temptation (or 2 different spambots, one of which was Temptation) and Temptation targeted one of those people, and the backfire effect made a villager die instead? --------------- @Elandera, I get that you're inactive and may have other plans in-game, but if you could use the new ability I gave you on CadCom this Weekend, that would be great. @Cadmium Compounder, the ability I mentioned involves the thing we've discussed in PM's and it won't harm you or change your alignment at all. --------------- Also: Now that we know that Roadwalker was indeed a powerful spambot, this gives more credibility to the bussing theory as to why spammers might have jumped on the Guest lynch. This is unfortunate as I've come to tentatively trust some of those who voted for Guest.
  12. Why not worship all of them? We need the pantheon to work together in this time of crisis. We need mental acuity, luck, crazy ridiculous role gambits, alignment knowledge, and communication all in one. The Spammers are a greater threat than petty religious disputes. May the Storm smite them all.
  13. Logmul of Sdrawkcab returns!!! sign me up please
  14. @Sapphire Elephant: I'm pretty sure that one of the interesting things about this game is that there are more Spammers than Eliminators, so since there's 23/24 players, there's probably around 12-15 spammers out of them. The Eliminators knowing about some spammer abilities is then meant to balance out said outnumbering. Also, a theory (not asking anyone to confirm or deny): What if reklawdaoR is Sapphire Elephant, and they've been looking at the thread but only posting as Elephant?
  15. My reasoning here is that the spambots will convert someone no matter what - They may be someone we suspect or someone we don't. It's true that if we trust someone, they'll make a more likely target for conversion. However, I was thinking that if we trust someone just for a few rounds at the beginning, it's better than absolutely trusting no one.
