  1. So, I can't really identify much more reasoning behind this than gut feeling, but I just feel like Lopen is a convert. Even if he isn't, he's one of the most active players here, he's mostly being read as village, and he's doing a lot of discussion and that sets him up to be a likely convert for the future, since Sja-anat is obviously still alive and it's been said that they can suicide to convert another player. The suspects for conversion are quickly narrowed down, as people have previously pointed out, and unless an inactive player like Xino or Shqueeves was converted, that leaves only around 2-4 possible suspects. I think that we should go after all of them eventually but Lopen just seems like the obvious choice for an elim to convert.
  2. Um, people were definitely voting for me after D1. I don't think that qualifies as "abandoning the idea that Lum could be evil".
  3. How is it distancing if all throughout the game, I've been defending Rath? I get that Rath might be distancing by suspecting me. However, Rath has been suspecting me since D1. Sja-anat!Rath would then be framing me (by voting on me, etc) and then converting me. That seems like a strange move for an elim, and not something that I would expect. People who are chosen as converts are generally under little to no suspicion, and even though the lynch ended up swinging away from me D1, multiple people expressed their ongoing suspicion of me afterward.
  4. So there's 3 ways that I see the lynch going: Lopen, Rath, and Sart. (Ninja'd by Rath voting on me. Now Sart doesn't have any votes, so he's out.) All I've gotten from Rath lately are village reads. I see no problem with his day-by-day analysis - people have pointed out that there's little actual analysis at the end, but most of Rath's thoughts are commentary on the posts themselves. Furthermore, Rath has provided a different style of analysis after people expressed their dissatisfaction with it. Rath's vote on me does seem to be based largely on the fact that I've been driving conversation, which I don't like, but I'd say the reasoning there is not wrong. As much as I dislike rapidly changing opinions and going back on what I've said before, upon thinking, Lopen seems like a good candidate for a convert and the only person whose behavior at this point would warrant a lynch. It would make sense for an early convert to go from strong, detailed analysis and all-around village reads D1 to quietly hiding out and posting vague reads afterward. Players with village reads at the beginning are good candidates for conversion in general, too.
  5. Although I see the reasoning against Lopen, for now, I still think he's village. And I disagree with the statement that he's been staying "under the radar", since several people have analyzed his posts and paid attention to them. Being consistently read as village in people's analysis is quite different from not being analyzed in the first place. @TheMightyLopen, I think that it would greatly help if you shared some more reasoning for your trusts and suspicions, just focus in on some more specific people instead of generally listing everyone and saying that you think they're village/elim. A lot of why I trust you comes from your detailed analysis D1 and although I've seen a lot of activity from you after that, it seems to mostly skim through your reads rather than really explaining them, and that can read as elim, since elims can't genuinely suspect people. Your tone, to me, reads very village, but the change in your style from detailed analysis to listing a few gut reads does follow the same pattern as what would be expected from a convert. I'm not sure who to vote for at this point, but, let's not lynch an active player who has, in fact, been contributing. I'd definitely like to hear more about your reads. When you say "village read" or "elim read", what led you to come to that conclusion?
  6. Also: The elim kill does not count as an action, so if it was indeed the elims who burned Snipexe, they might have had 2 people they wanted to kill but couldn't do that, so they could have just roleblocked Snipexe in addition. This makes sense, given that Randuir had the PM creating item and Snipexe claimed Cryptic, so it fits the narrative of elims wanting to prevent PM's from happening.
  7. I'd like to counter that point. PM's were a large factor in leading to lynching Fifth, who turned out to be village, so I don't think that elims would want PM's to be closed.
  8. I was reluctant to out CadCom as I saw no good reason to, but once Sart outed him, I decided to confirm that. I knew that CadCom was the highspren mentioned by Sart because CadCom claimed to have stolen an essence Fifth said was stolen from him. And yeah, I've been finding that Sart's behavior has been throwing me off, especially when he outed CadCom after I mentioned in my post that it would be better not to. Although their role as Inkspren is all but proven, people have mentioned that Inkspren are valuable converts. However, Sart has been raising red flags somewhat since D1, and was even tied to be lynched. I wouldn't expect someone suspected like that to be converted, at least early on. Neutral-suspicious read. Although I disagree with Lopen's suspicion of Rath, I'm inclined to trust them nonetheless. They've been contributing plenty of analysis and have been involved with the game and putting themselves out there, but without being unusually aggressive or showing strange voting patterns or anything like that. Village read. I'm inclined to trust players with a more NAI playstyle, but I've also found that it's very effective at gaining trust regardless of alignment, so I'm trying to have just some slight, healthy paranoia of that. Otherwise, the more NAI style players in this game (Rand and Devotary are the ones that come to mind) haven't really given me a reason to suspect them. So, keeping them at tentatively neutral-village for now. I've already expressed my dislike of sheeping and bandwagoning, but honestly I find it pretty NAI in the early game. So although Ark and Dapper could be using that strategy to cover up elim-ness, it is very similar to how I played my first games. Again, I would love to see more analysis from both of you, but I'm placing my read as of now as neutral. CadCom: He's apparently been stealing essences to prevent people from creating items that several other people (including myself) have judged as NAI. I don't find this suspicious, especially given the reasoning that he gave me in our PM, but I find his behavior and tone in the game slightly unusual. I honestly have no idea how to read CadCom at this point.
  9. Since it's been said already, I can confirm that the highspren in question is CadCom. Although I'm hesitant to vote on Fifth for the same reasons that Fifth is hesitant to vote on me (that we needed to take a break from tunneling on each other), the logic against Fifth makes too much sense. From another PM I've had, a person has pointed out inconsistencies in Fifth's claim, such as him claiming to have taken the same action D1 and N1, which is illegal. Lying about someone's actions or role, to me, is definitely a cause of suspicion. Ark. Fifth.
  10. I've been PMing with said highspren, and they also appear to find Fifth suspicious from what I've understood. I won't reveal who they are but encourage them to do so unless they have a good reason not to.
  11. I see. I am being a bit of a hypocrite in saying this, as I've bandwagoned a lot in earlier games, especially my first few, but I'd say come up with arguments first, and then vote. And for the record, I don't dislike you at all. I dislike it when people vote without reason. I dislike the action and not the person. You're cool.
  12. That's fair. However, I'd still like to see your explanation as to WHY you find people suspicious. Switching multiple times is fine. Switching solely based on people's arguments and not your own, and bandwagoning, is just something that I dislike.
