    Well, Lopen does mention the hand eaten by a beast is doing a rude gesture during WoR(?). So maybe he did lose his arm to the pig. But it's best to take what Lopen says with a pinch of copper, anyway. But there's a chance.

    Yeah. Nicrosil ferring storing allomantic charge is one theory. Another is that each Allomantic power has a Feruchemial power that enhances it, like A-steel and F-iron.

    I am now! I'm so glad I did, too. My rank/title thing is still "lurker of the shard", though. I'm not changing that yet.

    So, this means that we've seen something related to them, or the effects, or a modified one (unmade?). Anywhere Honor, Cultivation, or Odium (probably Honor, but covering all my bases) had influence at some point could be where we saw the Dawnshard.

    To be unmade, they would've had to have been made first. There could be one Dawnshard that was not Unmade. I think all the Dawnshards were spren that granted massive surge powers to who they were bonded to. Odium changed them somehow, but only changed nine out of ten. My theory is that Cusicesh the Protector is the last Dawnshard.

    Interesting. So you're saying that A-compounding isn't Kinetic Nicrosilminds, but instead is pairing up each Allomantic power with a Feruchemial power that complements it? Wax would be an A-compounder, if that interpretation is correct. What other examples of this could you think of?

    Welcome to the Shard! I'm glad to hear your praise of our author, and am happy you rate him with some of the best worldbuilders. I'm sorry you won't be able to read all of his books, but I hope you enjoy every book you do read.

    I imagine A-compounding to be a hack of normal compounding of Nicrosil. It works on the commonly accepted theory that you can store Kinetic Investiture (as opposed to sDNA) in a Nicrosilmind. You store Allomantic charge in the Nicrosilmind, then Allomantically burn it.

    I think I understand. If I may, I think (just a theory) the reason the Urithiru fabrial doesn't work is because the Sibling is supposed to be inside it. This would allow the Sibling Bondsmith to sense what was going on in the city, and turn things on and off, as well as direct power throughout the city.

    I remember seeing a while ago in a different topic (I forget what it was) that Bondsmiths might have unique powers. I think it was: Traditional Surge powers: Physical Adhesion Object-repairing Tension Spiritual Surges: Spiritual Adhesion (Connection) Spiritual Tension (?) Unique "Godspren" powers: Stormfather: Recharging Spheres (Honor's Perpendicularity is a strengthening of this), changing the Surges of other Radiants (Shallan's map) Nightwatcher: Potentially Old Magic manipulation, changing Boons and Curses or even giving them out Sibling: Nothing is known about the sibling in general, so we are unable to make inferences about what its Radiant can do

    You know what I realized? we don't know what happens to the matching Shardplate that belonged to Maya's Radiant. So imagine Adolin waking up Maya, and suddenly across the continent, some Shardbearer is fighting the Singers or whatever, and his Plate just dissolves.
