  1. Or your fringe, not only pointless but incredibly dangerous. I also like the idea of using a shard blade to carve a Sunday roast.
  2. I actually think 'the one who saved her life' would be Jasnah, after all she did save Shallan from poison. If of course this is from her perspective.
  3. Cannot emphasise how much I love Robbin Hobb, especially anything with Fitz in (Assassin's series and the Tawny man series). She is the reason I love Fantasy as a genre! For younger readers anything by Tamora Pierce is really good, I still like to read her books now even though I probably should have grown out of them. Patritia Wrede's Dealing with Dragons is also good (and very funny). Neil Gaimen hasn't been mentioned yet has he? American Gods is very good and so is Good Omens which he wrote with Terry Pratchett (another great one) Finally, and most obviously, Brandon Sanderson and Robert Jordan.
  4. Hey everyone, Just thought I'd tell you a little about myself, I live in London and am an avid reader of all types of fantasy. Brandon Sanderson is one of my favourite authors (which is weird because when he took over the wheel of time I REALLY didn't like his writing style, then I read some of his own novels and I've now changed my mind completely), but I also really like Robert Jordan, Robbin Hobb and Terry Pratchett. Looking forward to spending a lot of time here! Branf x
  5. I really need a book to read before 'A Memeory of Light' comes out, can't keep my overexcited mind under control otherwise
