What if Hellbent becomes gimped by turning into an investitureless wolf, with all his memories and mental faculties!
-
Does anyone else think of 'Dawn of the Mutant era' from the gifted whenever they see this thread, or is it just me?
-
I voted for democracy, because I was too tired to think, and I wouldn't be the TUBA representative for Republic.
-
Karma, don't double post. Kenod, I think so.

"I am over a hundred years old. If I wanted more power than you, or Hellbent, I would have already taken it. All I want is to serve Lord Hellbent to the best of my bilities, and that included keeping his subordinates happy. Unless you want a riot on your hands, you should give them something to do. I have been commanding my elites for years, and when I leave them bored they get restless, and disobey me," The Jackal said, his Sandling scale armor glinting under his trench coat, and his arm bands and shuold bad reflecting the sun. They were specially treated with a water proof oil, so they lacked that weakness.

Dusk injected Fred with some adrenaline to get him awake.

I mean, the very low level powers could work, like the ability to shoot fire out of your hands, or being a vampire, because if we really wanted to, you could be a pyromancer epic.
-
While Dusk is not a vicious murderous demon, and can also do it. Though, it might be a good idea for neither of them to show up, as they would then try to kill each other, and Dusk would blow at least one thing up before Hellbent kills him.

The jackal and my half mime anarchist are definitely staying out of it.

WHAT DA EXPERIMENT IS THIS? Or is this Dusk's fault?

The Last Post Wins!!!!!

I have been trying to make them the official police force since they were founded, I've just been feeling push back from the same people now trying to make a centralized government and code of laws, about the existence of a code of laws. I am actually working on a code of laws for the citadel, right now. If you want to use it when I'm done, you can. Ps. If anyone who is an actual lawyer and not a teen ager wnats to take over, tell me.

Huh. Both Ark and Kidpen agree with me... Who are you and what have your done with them?
-
Kay. Just making sure.

@Dr. Dapper I'm directly trying to avoid the Precursors being sucked up. They are an impartial body that tried to help keep peace, and enforce law. They do work for the governing bodies, not just guilds, all governing bodies, but deep down as are our own guild. I do not want to be sucked up into larger group where we completely lose everything that made us unique, and fun. He getting sucked up would just be the same as saying, 'you guys can't exist anymore.'
-
Good descriptor Sorana. So, do characters have to join guilds, or can you keep characters impartial? Like, in a while I have an anarchist character planned who wouldn't join a guild, and the pre mentioned crime lord.
-
I know that it is hard to start. Actually, Ark all but forced me to start, but once you do, it is fine, at least to me. Their is a problem with new people not knowing where to post, and we should fix that. I did actually notice you, I just though nothing off it, as you hadn't brought yourself to my attention, which is not against you, just true. I just think that this is a bit to restrictive on how characters can be made. I didn't see any problem, other than post creation enhancemtns, AKA, Hellbent syndrome.

I prefer our current weakness:power ratio, and were this is the equation that I think of. Archer just approximates that. Again, this is a free form rp, and it is meant to be very fun. Any new person will come, and their is about an added 10% chance, in my opinion, of them being driven away. The point system just makes people mad at the system, and they won't be able to actually explain their powers. Their is also they fact that you can't quantify epic powers, or talents. You just have a larger argument. x=power y=weakness x=y-1/4x
-
We don't move on players, unless they have actually agreed to it. Not just a random person. Places like the citadel have you needing to agree to the law to come in, but that's not everything. We are very spread out, and we only function as an army against an army of criminals. We are led by Ax, me, and that guy Clyde. I actually don't want to favor TUBA, Clyde is very new, and Ax is both GB and TUBA. Do you expect us to attack the DA? If someone protects a target, ie: a guild of equal stature to the person that put the hit on, or 2 lesser guilds against a great guild, and those numbers are up to negotiation. This pretty much is a multi guild colation, but it already exists. We work for everyone, and if a person doesn't want us after their character, unless their in the citadel or like place, we won't go after them.
-
No. The compounder would be an alternate option. No it wouldn't. There would still be arguing, because people don't like how things are scored, and the think that their weaknesses make up for it. It will not remove the arguments, it will just make people go after the system, instead of the actual reasons why. In my opinion this system will not remove arguments, it will make them worse.
-
I am a TUBA member, and so are my characters. I agree that the rprs should be separate from the characters, but that statement is not true.
-
I have no words to express my mix of confusion, anger, and disappointment. The Precursors are commanded by me, Ax, and that guy clyde. It isn't that new of a concept, and has been the subject of a long discussion on practicality. They are an army of policemen. They are after anyone a governing body deems a criminal, that is under their jurisdiction, ie: not under protection, in their city.
-
I just don't like it, and I'm sorry, but, nothing you could say can convince me. I just don't think it will work, and it is just a lot of wor, that I don't want to have to do when I'm kaing a character for a free form rpg that I do in my spare time. Or chromium, or steel, or pewter.
