  1. The Vortex screeched. It was still widening, and each step more things came out. This time it was a purple-red haze, with a full dragon within. The dragon shot fire and flew away. But the haze remained. Bellatrix stepped into it, and found her vision bleeding to purple. She could kill. She would kill. She was a god, invincible, immortal- the man pulled her out. She looked back, realizing what had just happened. She watched as it slowly spread, becoming invisible. But when she looked out the window, she could see faint purple-red glows in the distance.
  2. I put the vote on as a poke vote, but I don't know who else to poke, so I'm leaving my vote until I can think of someone else
  3. Could you add me to the player list?
  4. I think Hellbent (era 1 or 2) and Allak would get along well
  5. Why forty spikes? That would make him easily controlled.
  6. Anthony grinned. "Always good, not killing people." His face became slightly more serious. "I'm glad to hear about the twins."
  7. Anthony pushed open the door, Solstice in his other arm. "Hello Silas. How have you been?"
  8. Hellbent screeched, his massive leg lashing out like a battering ram.
  9. Anthony glanced at Deteca, then walked out of the room, toward Silas's.
  10. Anthony picked Solstice up, rocking her back and forth. That would be helpful If that was an accurate representation of the defenses
  11. Hellbent snarled, moving only slightly. The shardblade in his hand flew towards Jack's arm, and would continue through. At the same time, he spat the bloody meat in his mouth towards Jack's face.
  12. Hellbent ripped into the flesh, devouring it.
  13. I haven't controlled the Precursors. I had literally no say in their actions, that was Woodrack. I disagree. This has been the general mood I've seen multiple people work with over the era. If you read the posts by Voidus, talking about "The Black Crusade returning to nuke us again" and that sort, you will see what I mean. And you can't forget the Thieves Guild. The majority of things still helping the people are anti-guild. But the guilds also released abominations into the city, creating the war in the first place. Also, people still died in the nukes. They evacuated a lot, but there was only so much they could do. This is a massive city. According to current worldbuilding, only the richer neighborhoods have electricity, or running water. The guilds started a hospital, yes. But that is in the richer part of the neighborhood, outside the crater. Not in the slums, where they don't even have roads. Ambrosia has still been actively working, using the funds of Alleyzon. Tell me, what exactly have they done for the people of Alleycity? I haven't seen anything. They live in a place many kilometers away, that's not helping. Not what the mist does. It would make people scared, angry, and make what's already happening slightly worse.
  14. Anthony hiked into the building, small cuts and bruises visible on his arms and face. "Tena." His voice was rough, tired. "Who are all these people?"
  15. The thing continued to thrash. The explosion damaged the bones somewhat, but it was fine. Then the glove hit again. It blasted the creature, shattering many bones. But it survived. It lashed out with multiple tentacles, grabbing Bel, and tightening it's grip until it would soon break bone.
  16. Hellbent turned, grimacing. Dammit. He resummoned his shardblade, at the ready.
  17. And Hellbent has already been shown to easily outclass him...
  18. I have worked on this for months. Literally. PlasmaCore wouldn't be popular with the people, you're right. But they haven't been shown as enough of a threat to justify kidnapping people from their homes. The Precursors aren't giving an option, they are kidnapping. That isn't going to make the people happy. 16 years of peace? Oh yes. After seven years of radiation poisoning, the guilds did nothing to help clean up, help their lives. But yes, I'm sure they'll be happy about the fact that the guild managed sixteen years without causing a war. Real accomplishment there. (read this area from PoV of alleycity citizen) Fiend attacked? Started by a guild war. Sephtis? That was caused by guild politics. P.S. I really hope no one is offended by these arguments, if I do sorry.
  19. Not sure quite what you mean here?
