  1. Trying to finish it quick though.
  2. I actually didn't read it that way, I like debating. I get that it isn't invested, but people in the alleyverse can always bring investiture. This way, it just rules out the option.
  3. You're very welcome. It is considered polite to put spoilers on things like WoT and the more obscure ones, because many haven't read them yet, but not strictly required.
  4. Or the larkin
  5. Well, the reason I'd disagree is that lenses, crystin swords, the glass dome, and smedry talents would also all be heavily invested, and Alcatraz broke all of them, or could have.
  6. Ark, who was bored, summoned Cthulhu x500 an inch from Butterflutter the Second's face.
  7. Ah. I'd love to participate, but I'm on book seven.
  8. No, I want to have as Steel said, a place where a character has to live without their powers. Most characters are reliant on them, and this stops that completely. Also, it adds cool possibilities for a siege the castle thing, because you can't use investiture. And, yes, there is some non-fantasy to it, but what's the problem with that?
  9. I'd just kill the aviar if I were you.
  10. Is it Mennis*? (For all those who watch Shardcast) *Completely did this the first time
  11. Not a spoiler, actually, the only thing in suppression currently is Skyward.
  12. So, by your name, I assume you're Koloss? Wow. Then you're not welcome in our awesome club. We don't deal with losers
  13. ^Undeniable truth
  14. I'd say no, because something has to happen on each side. If, somehow, one only had any effect on the side it's coming from, then yes, but I don't think that works.
  15. And a Thermonuke©. Which was, of course, a new type of protein bar.
  16. The energy from teleporting makes it so she can't use the flame, meaning that one doesn't work. And the flame has to make contact, if you block it with a non burnable object you win.
  17. Again, depends on the differences, not the similarities. Can it be used at range? That's already way more useful than a Shardblade. Does it also need to pierce someone's spine? Or does it kill them by touching them anywhere? Because again that's more powerful than a Shardblade. It's also immaterial and can't be taken away from you without Hemalurgy. Regardless, all I can do is rate it as an Epic power, and the ability to indisputably kill someone once a day is pretty powerful. Can only travel about two feet. Assuming reasonable answers to the other questions (Range within a few hundred feet at most, flames are within normal temperature ranges, etc.) should be around another 50 points. Those assumptions are correct.
  18. I, again, disagree. You're going to use it in battle, that's the best function. And, unlike a shardblade, no massacre capability. Pyrokinesis: Way too broad to score this, limitations, size, temperature and range of control would be nice or just pick an existing fictional pyromancer that I can use as a reference point. Being able to create fire in particular can be insanely powerful depending on what you mean by it. Could they look at Alleycity once and have it instantly turn into a giant pile of ashes? 10-300 points, depending on these limits She can do anything from a few sparks to engulfing a maybe 7x7 foot area.
  19. He looked around, seeing corpses and destroyed buildings. He cRiEd.
  20. The monks blood boiled. A red haze filled his vision as he staggered up, towards the unaware Alum. He grabbed a knife from a corpse, watching as his skin ripped off his arm. He knew he was dying. He somehow couldn't make himself care. There was only one thing he wanted. To kill Alum, to watch the light leave his eyes. He pushed forward, skin falling. His clothes were ruined beyond recognition, and he could barely see. Blood, bones, reddened eyes, he looked the stuff of nightmares. A few inquisitors began to float down to him, as they had steel pushed away before the blasts, but when they got closer, the went elsewhere, picking off survivors with coins. They didn't want to deal with the demon the flames had created. He could feel his mind slipping away from him. HA HA HA HA HA HA WhY dId YoU lEaVe Me KIlllllllllllllllllllllll WHY DOES LIFE ALWAYS BECOME HELL Kill Nooooo, no, please. Alum. Evereything dies Insanity will be the tool. He grinned, blood filling the mouth, running down his destroyed body, his very face coming apart at the seams. He grabbed a juice from his belt, the heated glass burning what was left of his fingers. He poured it on the knife. It would cause complete insanity, starting with hallucinations, progressing to a loss of memories and the hallucinations, eventually leaving him with a broken mind, little more then an animal, and a vague sense he had been something. He crawled behind Alum, and the speed and strength helped him again. He shoved the knife towards Alum's back, on a path that the unaware man would have it puncture no vital organs, though he might eventually bleed out. The strength, the speed, made it powerful, near unblockable. And the man couldn't see him. @MetaTerminal
  21. You chose two very powerful Epic abilities. I'm concerned that they might be OP, but as usual, I'll defer to Voidus. I disagree. The "Insta-death" power is literally a shardblade but weaker. A shardblade is thirty points, and this is that but takes twenty seconds to summon, can only be used once at a time, only affect one person, and leaves her physically weak. On top of that, teleportation isn't that powerful, and that is a very weak version. Sorry, yeah, intelligence is a large factor as well, forgot to mention that part.
  22. Yes, happy birthday @Blessing of Potency!
