  1. I wonder how often Peter laughs at our theories or is surprised that we are accurate. He does come around a significant amount.
  2. Judging based on his beliefs and past books I would say that's probably not going to happen. I think I saw a blog post or quote or annotation somewhere that said he wouldn't do any explicit sex scenes. I could be wrong though.
  3. I've added to both the Marabethia and Arriev articles and would like to submit them as Complete.
  4. These are amazing! I particularly like Kal and Dalinar's portraits. Thanks for sharing!
  5. This chapter made me so impatient for March! I can't wait to read more Kaladin. I loved the imagery of the Freedom tattoos and cutting off the Cobalt Guard patches.
  6. This was my response to Alaxel: And probably rule out Jezrien and Shalash as he is her father. Yeah, Taln would be difficult to place now. I for one, would be unimaginably angry with all the other Heralds for leaving me to burn in Hell, as it is.

  8. Back to the whole purpose of this thread, shipping, what about two Heralds? Which two do you think could be romantically involved?
  9. Me too! Exactly how I feel! If that just happens to get us upvotes, then that's a bonus!
  10. Shallan's not as timid as you seem to think. She is gutsy and impulsive. If someone is attacking her current home, I think she would try tostop them. Actually, now that I think about it, I can see Jasnah coming out to fight too. Basically everyone in the camp who is capable of fighting, I can picture running to help protect Dalinar. If they hear news of or see Szeth's arrival, of course.
  11. I think it could have both Renarin and Shallan fight Szeth and Kaladin fight him too. In my previous post, I said that Shallan and Renarin team up to incapacitate Szeth, but neither has the combat experience or skills required to succeed in killing him and he escapes to continue on his path to murder Dalinar. But Alas! Who have we here, flying to our favorite highprince's rescue? Kaladin Stormblessed! Flying in, Kal and Szeth proceed to have an epic duel.
  12. Or a Shardgun with shardbullets. Same thing, just more advanced. Back to the OP, what if the reason no one sees Renarin's spren is because it's not real? (Not that I really think he's crazy, just a theory)
  13. Renarin and Shallan work in a joint effort with their individual Shards and Surges and together incapacitate Szeth. He escapes and tries to kill Dalinar again and then that's when Kal takes him down.
  14. Even if Feather, for some strange reason, decides that wasn't worth an upvote, you got mine . I kinda want Shallan to go all intense mode on Szeth first though and Renarin comes just in time to save her soul. Before Kaladin goes all Windrunner spearman fury on him of course.
  15. True, true. Darkness is pretty evil-seeming right now. Adolin has mellowed out and I don't think he will (and I never really did) think he was going to turn evil, just that he was more likely to.
  16. Well, upon checking, they seem to correlate with the first five orders of KR. (Windrunners, Skybreakers, Dustbringers, Edgedancers, and Palah's orders respectively)
  17. Ok, fine. Pull out all the adorable quotes. Fine you guys have convinced me that he won't be mad at Renarin. I still am inclined to think that he has a higher chance, no matter how small, of becoming the antihero than Renarin.
  18. I don't think he would be able to defeat Adolin in full gear either, just that Adolin would be disappointed inside that his brother has more power than he does. I'm sure we've all felt that, when someone else gets something we wanted, no matter how much you love them, you feel that sadness inside, if only for a moment.
  19. Oh, I see, Marianmi, I read your post wrong, I didn't see lactose-tolerant in the second case, I misread it as lactose-intolerant. It would complement each other, I'm just not sure how happy he would be that Renarin gets to one-up him at last. He does care about Renarin, I just think he's so used to being the better sibling that he would feel offended by it. It might not last, but I think Adolin would be hurt at first. He might not become an antihero, I just think it's much more likely for him than Renarin.
  20. Hey, Marianmi, for future reference, it's considered common courtesy to edit posts instead of double posting. What do you mean in your lactose-intolerant post? You say we cant consider lactose-intolerance an illness, but you also say we can. I'm confused as to what you mean. I consider Adolin to be somewhat prideful and if Renarin was suddenly more powerful than him, I think he would be resentful. I think it's just more in his personality more than Renarin's. And this: haha I totally agree, he has his shining moments but mostly, I'm not attracted to his character development. He's not near as bad as Sadeas, but not near as good as Renarin.
  21. Maybe because Plate doesn't directly harm anything. Blades have the sole purpose of cutting through things, particularly souls. Plate is just made in Defense.
